What is meant by the "....calves of our lips" in Hosea 14:2?

ESV - 2 Take with you words and return to the Lord ; say to him, "Take away all iniquity; accept what is good, and we will pay with bulls the vows of our lips.

All it means was God was inviting Israel to return to Him in obedience and through the sacrifice of praise with their lips. Bulls or calves are a symbol of sacrifice (ie sacrifice bulls or calves).
