What does it mean to be "spiritually minded" vs. "carnally minded"?

Is 'spiritually minded' speaking of trusting in the atonement work Jesus made at the cross, or is it speaking of things subsequent to salvation such as praying and reading the Word of God?

Good question, Daimian! "We are now able to fulfill the righteous requirements of the law in and through Christ" (see the context of Romans 8:6 [Romans 8:4-8]. And see Harold Wilmington's outline of Romans. I believe St. Paul is talking about the Christians' sanctification. And that would not be about our salvation experience when we trusted in the atonement work Jesus made at the cross.
