Question: In the light of John 3:13, where is Elijah?

John 3:13  “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.” 2 Kings 2:11  And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. It appears that these two scriptures conflict.  The old testament says Elijah was taken up by a whirlwind into heaven, but the new testament says no man has ascended into heaven.  How do we harmonize this?

2 Kings 2:13

NKJV - ¹³ He also took up the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and went back and stood by the bank of the Jordan.
