Good question, Julian! By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place (Hebrews 10). So pray for His leading. Don't trust your wisdom here. Yes, it is sinful not to trust the Lord, the most trustworthy One there is. He is The Way. My Faithlife Study Bible has this: Proverbs 3:5 Trust Yahweh: Since wisdom comes from Yahweh (Prov 2:6), He must be trusted. This often involves relying on God’s wisdom rather than human wisdom (Pr 3:7). We should pray, "Without Thy guiding hand we go astray, And doubts appall, and sorrows still increase; Lead us through Christ, the true and living Way." --William Henry Burleigh We are traveling to the sky.
