Is imagination and escapism in a 'playground' sense a sin?

Is it sinful to Immerse yourself in a fantasy/sci fi world? Not in the sense that you hate reality and you want to escape it, but in a 'playground' sense where you play around in a virtual or imaginary world? Such as: Daydreaming, Video Games, Role Playing, watching TV, writing, etc. Can we imagine a fictional world without all the cons? In light of scripture saying not to touch unclean things?

In my humble opinion, it is not a good idea. There are better things I can do with my time. What does Proverbs 12 say about chasing fantasies?

Proverbs 12:11: The one who works his land will have plenty of food, but whoever chases fantasies lacks judgment. Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense.

I compare this with Proverbs 28:

Proverbs 28:19 NLT:
A hard worker has plenty of food, but a person who chases fantasies ends up in poverty.
