Can a person still be a Christian and never have led an unbeliever to receive Jesus as their Lord and Saviour?

Even if I share the Gospel with those around me but no one accepts my invitation to receive the Son of God, will the Lord still consider me as His good and faithful servant (Matthew 25:23) when I meet Him one day even though I did not lead anyone to Him?

Dear Fellow Laborer in the LORD,
I can tell from your question that the enemy of our soul has tortured you with this thing. Let us turn to the Word of God to silence him forever on this issue! The Word of God is a Sword that we can Swing and slice him to pieces if he gets to close, by the Power of the Blood of Jesus Christ!

In the early church there was a lot of dissention as to who had led them to Christ. One would say "I am of Paul" meaning Paul had lead them to Christ either personally or through his teaching. Another would say, "I am of Apollos" Fights would start in the Temple! Imagine division in the church? Sorry back on subject. So Paul, in writing to the Corinthians, tried to put this to rest! He plainly stated in 1 Cor 3:6-7, I planted, someone else came and watered, but it was God who gave the harvest.

Think about it like this, I feel quite sure you are living a Christian life. Not Perfect, FORGIVEN! Sharing your Faith as you can, speaking to individuals as God allows you to, correct? You are planting SEEDS. Someone else will come along and water those seeds. God may even send you back to water them. Only God can draw someone to His Son.

John 6:44 You can not drag someone to Jesus! No matter how much you desire for them to be saved. Unless the Father is drawing them to Jesus, drawing them to Repentance, you can not make them be saved.

In reality, we are only there to be a witness of their salvation, to stand in the gap against the enemy to say "Yes, I saw the Father draw this person and they freely accepted Jesus as their Savior"

It is really the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, that Draws, Convicts, Offers Salvation and Accepts into the Beloved, a sin-stained soul washed in the Blood of Jesus. What a precious seed of truth to plant into the heart of someone.
If I never had the opportunity to witness this, at least I planted the seed of this that someone else could water and God could make to grow until it could come to pass!

What beautiful things we scorn because we think they are not BIG enough for God to use! A little mustard seed makes a huge tree! A tiny apple seed is capable of how many more apple seeds? (thousands in a lifetime of an apple tree)

Plant your seeds today...With Gratitude and Thanksgiving for the little things that God can use to make huge in His Kingdom!

Be Blessed
Lena

Not all of us are 'evangelists,' (preachers of the 'good news'), though we are all part of the same 'team' that does.

"And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ." (Ephesians 4:11-12).

"For also the body is not one member but many. If the foot says, “Because I am not a hand, I am not a part of the body,” it is not for this reason any the less a part of the body. And if the ear says, “Because I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body,” it is not for this reason any the less a part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the sense of smell be?

"But now God has appointed the members, each one of them, in the body, just as He desired...And God has appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, various kinds of tongues.

"Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all translate?" (1 Corinthians 12:14-18, 28-30).

Interestingly, GOD shows His perfect impartiality towards us by promising that the ones who don't get the 'fame' for being there during those more 'obvious' moments of ministry will get 'special attention' from Him for their equally important 'support work' behind the scenes, so long as they do it with equal passion:

"On the contrary, how much more is it that the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary, and those members of the body which we think as less honorable, on these we bestow more abundant honor, and our less presentable members become much more presentable, whereas our more presentable members have no such need. But God has so composed the body, giving more abundant honor to that member which lacked, so that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another." (1 Corinthians 12:22-25).

Very cool.

So don't let being 'support staff' make you feel 'less important' or rob you of any passion for your role in Christ's Body, since it simply isn't true. You ARE equally important. Even if you do somehow forget, GOD will remind you that WE couldn't do what WE do without YOU too.

I would also like to point out that people doing 'mundane' work sometimes suddenly find themselves 'called' to be evangelists, like Philip the deacon, (Acts 6:1-5), who was suddenly inspired to start preaching the gospel as an 'evangelist,' (Acts 8:26-40, 21:8-9).

We never quite know until the 'call' arrives what the Holy Spirit has planned for us, but whatever we are inspired to do, we should ALWAYS carry the same message with us and do whatever we are inspired to do with our 'whole heart and soul,' (Colossians 3:16-17, 23-24).

John 4-36-38
Meaning....
Some will plant the seed of Christ and some will lead people to Christ.

"...so that the sower and the reaper may rejoice together."
