Is God's forgiveness conditional or unconditional?

I believe Gods forgiveness is conditional. Why? For
two reasons.

1.) Salvation.

We all know that in order to be saved, we MUST recognize that
we're sinners dead in our sins. Romans 5:8 and other scriptures
tell us this. Every person ever born has committed sin. Romans 3:23
And our sin is what seperates us from God. We have to be convicted
of our sin in order to repent. But there MUST be true repentance.

What is repentance? Repentance is simply turning away from our
sin and turning to Jesus Christ with every fiber of our being. It can
also be defined as grief over sin. Another aspect of true repentance
is that it WON'T use the grace of God as a license to sin.Repentance is NOT remorse. Remorse is simply being sorry over the consequences of sin.

And where there is no repentance, there can be no forgiveness.

2.) Forgiveness of others.
Mathew 6:14
While I do agree that this verse isn't a reference to our salvation, it
does plainly say that we must forgive others in order for God to for-
give us. Another scripture that comes to mind is Matthew 18:21-35.
