The remission of sins is based solely on the shed blood of Christ Jesus, not on anything you can do. Baptism is a public declaration of your salvation and commitment to Christ...nothing more. Once Christ's spirit comes into your heart, and saves you from the wrath of God, your sins are forgiven, past, present and future. Remember, it's through the shedding of blood we have remission of sins. Not an act done by man.
Your sins were paid for about 2000 years ago. That includes all sin. I am referring to peoples concerns about future sins. 2000 years ago everything was in the future for us and still we are saved. Saved by our faith in Christ because his actions (leading a blameless life and his death on the cross) paid our way.
Nobody knows your heart better than God. Jesus will be your judge and I cannot in anyway pretend to know what Jesus will decide on your judgement day or mine. There inlies your motivation to be authentic, honest and truly repentant. Anyone can make any claim in public or private that is hollow and false. You can not confess your sins just in case God is real. If you have sinned and you have, search your heart. Do you believe? Because God either is or He is not. Do you have faith that God exist? Dig deep in your self. Meditate on it, seek guidance, do what it takes to come to your conclussion. I pray that you come to understand and know that God is as real as the stars in the night sky. When you know God is your Father in Heaven, that Jesus is your Lord and Savior and your gifts are from the Holy Ghost...Proclaim that knowledge. Admit that truth as fact, not as a just in case. God is not a back up plan, he is THE PLAN. Be born again! Live your life with the knowledge that you are a child of God and must obey him to the very best of your ability. Do that and acknowledge that you are flawed and that you need the sacrifice of Jesus to wash your sins away and I have FAITH that you will be forgiven of All your sins. But, Jesus is the judge. It is up to you to be able to honestly present yourself to his authority. Just remember, God knows your heart and a hollow confession may not be such a great plan.
