I seen the sunrise this morning, it seemed to look like an angel! Is that a sign? What would a visible sign from God look like?

I have always believed in and studied the works of the Phrophet John when it came to signs from God. He was always very vocal when he did not understand where, when, how, or what God wanted him to do next so he would often just stop where ever he might be at the time and ask. God came to John in many ways throughout his life especially in his later years. It could be something in nature like a cloud formation, the clearing of a stormy sky or just the wind but John always knew what God wanted because he walked in the Holy Sprit. I personally think we all see signs of The Father and it might be missed because of the fast pace of the world we live in that's why I try to look at the master piece He has painted with the creation of this planet. There are things I know I miss and I've been a Christian for 40 years and then there are the signs I know are from God but choose not to see, which dosent usually turn out so well. The human nature in all of us, at least in my humble opinion, can't concentrate on God 24/7 as He wants us to that's why it's important that we with the Holy Sprit and more importantly we walk in this world and not of it. I think your most definitely on the right track, Pray Always, and talk our Heavenly Father He will always listen and answer although it may not be in the way or time frame we think He should. Keep watching those clouds I've seen some pretty amazing things by doing just that. I hope my answer helps I know I didn't quote scripture but sometimes we can arrive at the answers we seek by just paying attention and growing old enjoying this world for what it is and not for what it can give. God Bless
