In my humble opinion NO as detailed by brother Michael in his excellent post to the question at hand. I submit for your consideration a brief general history of this deceptive organization and the shadow powers that rule it and various other fashionable causes. (Matthew 24:4; Luke 21:8)

Any vocal or visible organizations standing in the public squares that are not met with any opposition from the legal powers that be in operation, must be supported ideologically either actively or passively by those powers.
(Hosea 5:4; 1 Corinthians 15:33)

In the South, where the great majority of whites were Democrats, the first Klansmen were exclusively Democrats (Dixie Crats). In the rest of the country, the membership comprised both Republicans and Democrats, as well as independents. The Klan's strategy was appealing to members of both political parties to infiltrate the parties via its nativist issues. (2 Corinthians 4:4)

Hugo Black a Democratic senator and Klan member, sympathizer represented Alabama from 1927-1937 before being appointed to the Supreme Court in 1937 by President Roosevelt thus becoming the most influential justice of the 20th century and also the fifth longest serving justice until his passing in 1971.

Authored several important majority opinions relating to church-state separation.
Everson v. Broad of Education (1947) establishment clause applicable to Federal and State.
McCollum v. Broad of Education (1948) no government religious instruction in public school.
Engel v. Vital (1962) unconstitutional to require recitation of official prayers in school.

A 1941 Supreme Court ruling by justice Buford stated that the 1893 Act was intended to keep firearms out of the hands of Negros. And never intended to apply to the white population at all, exposes the racist history of American gun control laws and the indirect protection of the KKK from an armed victim. (2 Corinthians 6:14)

Dr. Martin Luther King jr. Protection while in the Southern freedom marches was provided by a group of armed Negro world war two and Korean war veterans called the Deacons. With it’s fifty chapters also providing protection to voters and other citizens from local and state Klan chapters that were closely allied with the Democratic police, sheriffs, and other functionaries of local government. In the South, Klan members were still Democratic, as it was a one-party region for whites.

"The constitution does not impose a duty on the state or local governments to protect the citizens from criminal harm"
Deshaney v. Winwebago county (1989) U.S. Supreme Court

Bottom line the current legacy of the Klan is before our eyes daily as laws are broken here and there, but no one is charged for their transgressions unless of course they have the misfortune to be a member of an unprotected or State favored class that is.
(2 Corinthians 4:2)

"If a man hasn't discovered something that he will die for, he isn't fit to live"
Dr. Martin Luther King jr.

The KKK is about as evil a group as there exists in today's world! So, my emphatic answer to this question is NO! The Bible tells us "He who hates his brother does not have the Son, for anyone that hath not love for the brethren hath not love in God." This reprehensible organization/group is and has been and continues to put a disgraceful scourge on American societal civility.

Satan has been working overtime in his efforts to "put brother against brother". This condition is a sad one and an issue that God's children should pray for His almighty hands be involved in turning our hearts and minds back to His loving eternal grace." --Andy--
