In Mark 2, Jesus was correcting the Pharisees use of the Sabbath for their own use and benefit. Jesus said. The Sabbath was created, "made for man" to benefit all man. (Mark 2:24-26) Yes, the Lord gave His Sabbaths to the children of Israel as a sign between God and them that they may know that God is Lord and sanctify them. (Exodus 31:12-17) Nowhere in scripture God does not say His Sabbath is only for Jews and Israel. Jesus does say His Holy Day is for all man.

How long did God say the Sabbath was to last? (Exodus 31:17) "for ever". The Sabbath God's 4th Commandment is not just for a few men in the old covenant but the new covenant, all men, as well, "for ever".

(Mark 2:28) "Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath". Jesus leaves no doubt which day belongs to our Lord. Jesus leaves no doubt that He gave His day, seventh day Sabbath, to benefit and help all man, His creation, for ever.
