In my humble opinion God appointed Ezekiel because of His love for His chosen people, to warn them when they were doing sinful things and leaving God's path and protection.(Psalms 105:42; Psalms 105:45)

God established the formal position of watchman with Ezekiel, but in a larger sense He had placed the spirit of a watchman [Shomer] within his creation (Genesis 4:9).

These ever faithful servants often nameless individuals who share our time and space stand ready to help or visit violence if need be on those who would do harm against the defenseless and innocent among us. (2 Samuel 18:25)

They are the sheepdogs that stand between evil and genteel polite society, some in the spiritual realm via prays and intersession and many in the physical realm as our military, police, fire, or that watchful neighbor. (Ezekiel 33:6; 2 Samuel 17:10)

Many will carry the unspeakable horrors and numerous scars of prior engagements with an unmerciful enemy for their span of time on this little sphere. (Psalms 69:6)

And the world will be somewhat better because of them driven by their love of their fellow man which God has placed within their hearts and it’s in that love that they willingly choose to take the point. (John 15:12; Psalms 90:16)

On this day September 11th. Let us remember all those who willing left their safe spaces and rushed foreword with their last seconds to help complete strangers and yet others within the towers who struggled to move people toward safety with theirs.
(Ester 4:14)

(2 Chronicles 7:14)
15 years down the road America hit the snooze button and when back to sleep placing us on the wrong path which will not end well friend. (Ezekiel 28:4-7)
