Well, this question remind us to the words of God, "What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun"(Ecclesiastes 1:9) Although these demonic spirits activities were cursed by the people of the LORD our God (Deuteronomy 27: 9-26), but there are still people in the Church continue practicing it (Revelation 2: 18-29) Paul told us that man consist of spirit, soul and body (1 Tessalonians 5:23-24) as God has commanded us to love him, "Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength" (Deuteronomy 6: 5-6). People are working hard to fulfill their daily needs, spirit, soul and body and the world offer many kinds of ways for reaching this goal as Satan is, and he said to him, I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. So if you worship me, it will all be yours" (Luke:4:6-7) Jesus offers the way to become a believer and follower of his teaching, So do not worry, saying:"What shall we eat?", or "What shall we drink?" or "What shall we wear?" For the pagans run after all these things, and your Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his rigtheousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Mathew 6:31-34) So, instead of practicing the activity of demonic spirits, we would better follow Jesus as he had said, "The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are Spirit" and they are life", Yet there are some of you who do not believe, "For Jesus had known from the beginning wich of them did not believe and who would betray him. He went on to say,"This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled him". (John 6:63-65). What a good news!
I believe that demons/evil spirits are just as active today as they were when the Bible was written. However, Christ gave to His us (as disciples) power over these evil spirits (Mark 6:7 --"And he called the twelve and began to send them out two by two, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits."). This authority is grounded in Jesus the Messiah’s kingdom authority (Matthew 10:1,7-8), which remains very much in effect today.
There is much evidence that Satan is active in our world today by the proliferation of lies we see around us. For example 1. The lie of evolution which states that God was not involved in creating and designing our beautiful universe despite the evidence that He was and is continuing to do so today. 2. The lie that gender is fluid and marriage between persons of the same gender is OK. 3. The lie that it is OK to take the life of an unwanted baby or an elderly person if it inconveniences anyone. 4. The lie that some races are superior to others thanks to Darwin and others motivated by the teachings of demons. 5. The lie that the woes and injustices in our society are caused by successful white folk. 6. The lie that there are many paths to God and that Christianity is just one amongst many others. And so the list goes on and on but thank God through His son Jesus Christ Our Lord and Saviour that we are able to walk in His light and know the truth and be set free by it.
I agree with all the paragraphs, except one. Demons can never gain access to God. They don’t know anything about the future. But from experience they can draw conclusions. Demons know what all other demons do or see, so they have a wide knowledge of happenings all over the world, at any point in time. But they can’t give information about the future unless being foretold by the Bible.
