Where does the Bible tell us how to be in Christ?

The Bible speaks in several places of our being in Christ. Where, exactly, does the Bible tell us how to be in Christ?

Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

But to be baptized into Christ you must follow:
Acts 2:38
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

These two following scriptures say so, but it interprets same as being in Christ. The scriptures are:

1. Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (KJV - sent from CadreBible)

2. Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. (KJV - sent from CadreBible)

God bless you all

This Scripture to describe a close, intimate, personal relationship. John 14:20-23 — If we love Jesus and keep His commands, we are in Him and He is in us, as He is in the Father. He and His Father will love us and come and make their abode with us. So we are “in” the Father and Son in the same sense that they are “in” one another. We do not become all one individual, but we love one another and our relationship is so close that they are said to abide with us. One person is “in” another when they have a harmonious spiritual union or fellowship with one another. John 15:1-6 — To bear good fruit for the Lord and to avoid being cast off, we must abide in Christ. Surely this makes it essential for all who want eternal life to be “in Christ.” Repent and follow His ways. Trust, Obey and have Faith like a little child, because we are children of God. One must put off your old self, 5 which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, 23 and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24 and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
13 By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. 1 John 4:12-13

The person who has believed that Jesus died for our sins and rose on the third day as fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy, then is willing to accept Jesus as Savior (e. g., Acts 2:38 and Acts 4:12) is already "in Christ" according to Galatians 3:27.

My short answer to this 'most precious relationship' question: First of all is this: (Specifically. 2 Corinthians 1:22) To me, I look at this relationship as ULTIMATE IN IMPORTANCE! When a person gets saved, God's Holy Spirit comes INTO our heart and "cleanses us of all unrighteousness' and then to guide, guard and direct our pathways along the journey of living life as a most precious Child of God! (As explained in Philippians 4:7; 2 Corinthians 1:20-22) ---"PRAISE GOD WE HAVE A SAVIOR!"---

It is this spiritual 'indwelling' of His Holy Spirit that is of such extreme importance! The Bible tells us that "we cannot be separated from the love of Christ". (Romans 8:35-39) He is always looking out for each of His sheep --you and me, that is-- and He intercedes to The Father, pleading our case when we have a "misstep"!

(Galatians 4:6) (2 Corinthians 1:22 and John 14:18-31)

"Praise God that we have a Savior! And, His name is Jesus Christ!"

Remember that we did not choose Him. He chose us. Learn his word. Learn His commands and obey them. Love each other. One of the answers to being in Christ lies in John 14:14-15; "You are my friends if you do what I command." 15 " I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I have learned from my Father I have made known to you"

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28 - 11:30 KJV).
