How did Satan get into the Garden of Eden?

I am incline to believe Tim Maas answer but yet not so sure that is acceptable to me. The Garden of Eden also known as The Garden of God, tells me that for God to walk with Adam and Eve in the cool of the evening this garden had to be a perfect place, a righteous place for God to be there. Perfect before the fall and had to have hedge around it because an angel with a flaming sword was to keep the falling couple from entering back into it because of the Tree of Life. Sin will not be found in Heaven why would we find it in Eden? Satan is a sinful, yet he was in the garden where God visit with the perfect couple. How did he get in this garden of Harmony and Peace? I do like Tim Maas' answer and probably one I could except but still puzzled!

I think you're over-thinking it. There is no "perfect place." There was a fight in the Kingdom of Heaven. Here is how it's stated:
A war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven ANY LONGER. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him (Revelation 12:7-9).
It sounds to me like the Devil and his crew had been comfortably residing in God's kingdom. They'd been biding their time, all the while plotting an insurrection.
Here's a thought: it says "a war broke out in heaven." Question: how long did the war go on? Was it over in a matter of minutes? Could it have lasted a few weeks? Months? Years? It's called a war, not a fight. I don't think we should dismiss it as a brief skirmish without any evidence of it being that way. Just a thought. (Assumptions lead to nowhere).

The Spirit of God LIVES IN believers. (I know this is true, personally). We ain't nowhere near good, forget perfect!! God isn't the prude that many of us imagine Him to be. No place is a "righteous place," in the sense that is tendered here.
Jesus ATE WITH SINNERS!! (Matt 9:11). God ate with sinners!!
God isn't prudish! Many of us think He is.
