Even though angels are described in the Bible, we have some revelations as to how tall they are in reality. We do find measurements of the angel figures in Solomon's temple—two cherubim figures that were each 15 feet tall with a wingspan of 15 feet (1 Kings 6:23-28). Both figures were carved from olive wood and covered with gold.

Solomon's cherubim were certainly different from the cute pictures of cherubs we see on greeting cards today.

10 cubits = 15 ft (in other words 10 feet 5 inches)

Two cherubims made of olive tree, each of ten cubits high. These two cherubim of olive wood were 20 ft. 10 in. Tall, with each wing measuring 10 ft. 5 in, making a full wingspread of 20 ft. 10 in. They were placed side by side in the most holy place, with the outer wings touching the outside walls and the inner ones touching each other. They were overlaid with gold (1Ki. 6:23-28).

The Bible states in Revelation 27:17 that the height of an angel is 144 cubits or 216 feet. Either way angels are tall magnificent creatures designed by God. Tell me if I am wrong, but that's what I got from this verse.
