Is it necessary to receive a 'calling from God' to be a Pastor?

If someone became a Pastor without a 'calling,' would they be a false teacher?

Above all things, the qualifications of a minister must first include a divine calling (Acts 13:2).

Unless one has been call to minister to those in the community, serve where others would not even think about going. Pastors must have a vested interest in those they are going to minister to.

Today anyone can get a license to be a ministry without ever darkening the door of a college. It takes a special calling to become a strong enough person to be able to speak into lives. It takes a commitment, a kind, loving and compassionate person, to understand where the hurting have been. What they are experiencing.

A pastor must be above reproach, a good leader, mentor, conflict solver, a smart business manager.

The position of pastor should never be taken lightly, one must be sure they have heard from God before they take on this calling.

If you have to tell someone your a pastor, you may not be ready.
