Revelation 13:11 - 18
NKJV - 11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

Christians are called to be spiritually discerning and circumspect. They should not underestimate the power of Satan and the evil spiritual forces serving him, who, as the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 11:14-15, are able to disguise themselves as angels of light, and who who are arrayed against Christ and His followers. At the same time, however, Jesus called on His followers in Matthew 10:16 not only to be as wise as serpents, but also as innocent as doves. There comes a point (in my opinion) where commendable discernment can transform to unjustified suspicion, and (beyond that) even to outright paranoia, which can hinder both Christians' walk and the effectiveness of their witness to others. And even that might not be so serious if it did not have more extensive adverse consequences, as in the case of the situation noted in the question. Immunizations have resulted in the prevention or eradication of not just influenza, but many other communicable, potentially epidemic, and formerly widely fatal diseases such as smallpox, polio, pertussis, diphtheria, tetanus, and pneumonia, which truly ARE (in my opinion) the result of living in the fallen world in which Satan delights; which have killed or maimed millions of people throughout history; and which would still be capable of doing so if left unchecked, or if people purposely chose not to immunized against them (as some have done in the past, and are doing even now, as well as encouraging others to do so) because of unwarranted or even irrational suspicion concerning them. Such avoidance only promotes the possibility of the re-emergence of those same maladies to once again wreak havoc on humanity. Unless there would be CLEAR (and I mean COMPLETELY unmistakable) evidence established between immunizations and either widespread adverse effects that outweigh the IMMENSE, DEMONSTRATED benefits of their use, or a possible role in the fulfillment of end-times prophecy that is FAR more convincing than the accusation noted in the question, the conscious effort of some to denounce vaccinations and to encourage others not to use them (even if done while invoking a particular interpretation of the Bible) is (to me) as much a manifestation of Satan's activity as the diseases themselves.
You cannot take the sign of the beast by accident, but you might be tempted to accept it by believing falsehoods. That is why keeping the truth, the Word of God, in your heart and mind is so vital. Revelation 14:9-11 makes clear some will accept the sign AFTER they worship the beast. All of these will suffer. But it is because they chose to do so. Remember also that the sign is a physical mark on the forehead or right hand. Revelation 13:6
