Since Adam was created before Eve, does this mean a couple is incompatible if the woman is older than the man?

Genesis 2:22

KJV - 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

To me, if the fact that Adam was created before Eve was meant as an indication that it was not proper in God's eyes for a man to marry a woman who was older than he was, then God would not have subsequently commanded in the Mosaic Law that, if a husband died without leaving children, the husband's brother was to marry the widow (with no indication of a restriction or limitation on that subsequent marriage based on whether the husband's brother was younger than the widow) and have children with her, so that the deceased brother's bloodline might continue (Deuteronomy 25:5-10).

This provision had been earlier specifically illustrated (even prior to the giving of the Mosaic Law) by the account of Judah and his sons in Genesis 38 (and specifically Genesis 38:11).
