Yes we do need to be aware, but one of the most overlooked words in scripture is "sober". Unfortunately, too many Christians are overly foucused on an issue. There are many examples: abortion, polotics, the courts, and so on. Now I'm not saying we as Christians should not be involed in these issues, but over and over the bible sayes we should be sober of mind (2 Tim. 4:5, 1 Tim. 3:2, 1 Thes. 5:6, 1 Pet. 4:7, 1 Thes. 5:8, 1 Tim. 3:11, 1 Pet. 5:8, 1 Pet. 1:13, Rom. 12:3, Tit. 2:2. Too many are drunk with the issues of this world. I would say, yes, be aware of the battles going on, but strive for balance Rom. 12:17-21. Foucus on winning souls.

In my humble opinion a very causal look around our little sphere (earth) seems to indicate the coming apart of many revered and trusted subsystems within the larger corrupt Babylonian system.2 Corinthians 4:4; Galatians 4:9 On this ever changing landscape ruled by fear and confusion, vain, narcissistic, elite puppet like intelligentsia scamper about as frightened children proclaiming one truth in the morning, then before the setting of the sun, the exact opposite via a new truth from their controlling puppet master...2 Corinthians 11:15; Ephesians 6:12 All that is seen in this realm is deception (coin of this realm) driven by its prince as his evil juggernaut crests every ridge line and descends into once peaceful valleys, leaving destruction and death in its wake. Luke 22:53; 2 Corinthians 11:14; Galatians 1:8 The priority for the body of Christ is to, first understand that a cosmic spiritual battle rages between the kingdoms of Light and darkness and second, we are soldiers and warriors in that army of Light with great / mightily deeds to be done. 2 Corinthians 10:5 We remain secure in the knowledge that we are in Christ and He is in us, never will He leave or forsake us, wherever we may stand on that battlefield, as this battle belongs to the Lord. Joshua 1:5; Joshua 1:7; Ephesians 6:18; 1 Corinthians 16:13. Bottom line: First be aware that there is a battle raging, then armor up and take your position troop now forward, to God be the glory. Yes we do as Paul said that we are not ignorant of devil's schemes and also he declare that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers in heavenly places. If there is a wrestling match going on then one who is fighting has to be aware.

Yes every christian should be aware of the invisible spiritual battle that is taking place even now. It is spiritual warfare that cannot be won by the christian who is not adorned in the full armor of battle. If you are not suited up that you will be an eminent casualty is certain.

Do we need to be aware of the spiritual battle taking place around us? Absolutely. Paul's words in Ephesians 6:11–12 (ESV) make this clear: "Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world‑rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." Paul teaches that believers must put on the full armour of God to stand firm against Satan's schemes. This battle is spiritual, not physical, and it influences our thoughts, choices, and daily struggles. Why Awareness Matters Christian teaching consistently emphasises that spiritual awareness helps believers: Stay morally vigilant Recognise temptation and discouragement. Understand suffering within a spiritual context. Rely on prayer, faith, and community. Discern between ordinary conflict and deeper spiritual influence. Awareness is not about obsessing over evil forces. It is about standing firm, staying grounded, and recognising the spiritual significance of our inner life. Recognising The Spiritual Battle Signs of spiritual struggle may include: Sudden discouragement Persistent confusion Loss of passion for doing good Doubts about God's love or your worth These experiences often reflect the "wiles of the Devil" Paul warns about. The Armour of God (Ephesians 6) Paul uses the image of armour to show how believers can protect themselves—much like wearing a raincoat in a storm. Key pieces include: Belt of Truth — Holding firmly to what is true Shield of Faith — Trusting God's protection Sword of the Spirit — Using God's Word to Resist Lies Helmet of Salvation — Guarding the mind against deception and doubt The helmet is especially important because spiritual attacks often target our thoughts. Recognising false ideas helps maintain peace and confidence. Prayer Prayer is the believer's lifeline. It strengthens, protects, and keeps us connected to God. Paul concludes his teaching on spiritual warfare by urging believers to pray continually. Conclusion: Christians must be aware of the spiritual battle around them. This awareness is not meant to create fear but to equip believers to stand firm, stay discerning, and remain anchored in God's truth, faith, and presence.

1 Peter 5:8: Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. God the Father has revealed to us through our Lord Jesus that one needs to be aware of the spiritual battle that takes place around His creation, right from the time of Adam and Eve. One who is being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible seed by the Word of God, who follows Him, He shall then abide in you forever. (1 Pet 1:23) For you shall then receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, who leads you to stand against the wiles of the devil as the Lord Jesus has revealed unto us. (Mar 1:4,8,16:16/Act 2:38) Lord Jesus, when He went and was baptized, the Holy Ghost descended upon Him (Lk 3:21-22), and He was then led by the Spirit into the wilderness for forty days, and was tested, and He stood against the wiles of the devil. (Lk 4:1-2) In those days, Lord Jesus ate nothing, and afterward He hungered; the devil then tempted Him. When our Lord Jesus went through, the devil also wanted Him to worship him and to give Him power over all the kingdoms, and then brought Him to Jerusalem and set Him on a pinnacle of the temple to tempt Him. Lord Jesus rebuked the devil and said, “Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve, and thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.” The devil then departed from our Lord Jesus. (Lk 4:3,8,12-13) As we see today the spiritual battles taking place all around the world, we need to be aware, as in the Scriptures, of what our Lord Jesus has revealed unto us about the end times. As it was in the days of Noah and Lot, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man, which is revealed, that is, our Lord Jesus. (Lk 17:26,28,30) The spiritual battle: as Daniel saw in a vision, the four winds of the heaven, having the four great beasts; the adversary the devil, that strove upon the great sea (Dan 7:2-3), Lord Jesus, when He entered into a ship, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves, and He was asleep. When the disciples came to Him, and woke Him up, saying, Lord, save us, we perish, and He said unto them, “Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?” Lord Jesus then arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm around them. These storms that we see today all around the world are the spiritual battle that is taking place around us. (Mat 8:23-26) One who puts on the armour of God, taking the shield of faith, shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. (Eph 6:16) One needs to be aware today, knowing that the spiritual battle, that is a perilous time that has begun. As the wiles of the devil are around, many are led to be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient, unthankful, and unholy. These are the ones without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good. They are the traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying the power of such turn away. (2 Tim 3:1-5) One then needs to be aware, in the right spirit, and walking in the right spirit, to pray and to put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand the onslaught of the evil days. (Eph 6:13) One then, having put on the whole armour of God the Father, when thou mayest be found near the floods of great waters, that we see around the world today, it shall not come nigh unto thee, for you shall be made whole again, by His angels. (Psa 32:6/Joh 5:4) Ephesians 6:11: Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
