The King James Version (KJV), also known as the King James Bible (KJB), sometimes as the English version of 1611, or simply the Authorized Version (AV). The way you and I can remember the publishing date 1611 is 1 Chronicles 16:11“Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.” King James Version (KJV) I use it as my primary source for memorizing Bible verses. I've done this for years, ever since 1968, when I was saved. The churches I have gone to have mostly all used it to preach from, including the church I go to now. I just love it! I have marked my King James Bibles profusely so at least I know the verses I memorized in the past. I love the poetic way it sounds as well!
