In my humble opinion to be alive on this little sphere during this time. And being blessed with the truly priceless gifts of both health and a clear mind. Also being a witness to the prophecies from antiquity, saying such things would come to past is so exciting thank you LORD. (Isaiah 46:10) I submit always standing tall for the TRUTH in the public square, come what may, even if alone. This small act of defiance is a thanks to those faithful heroic generals and nameless pathfinders who were before us. (Micah 7:8; 1 Corinthians 16:13) Even in the darkest of times when we're up against it hard; we must remain hopeful for without hope the human spirit dies. Many in this great land have lost or may lose everything without jobs through no fault of their own. Remember or help where able these souls during their very trying and unsure times. (Nehemiah 5:19) As to the rest of this kabuki theatre, everything will work it's self out as written. No matter the dubious assertions or chaos of squeamish temporal secularists. (Amos 5:10; Hosea 7:3; Micah 7:3) Ibib 2:5 "In a place where there are no men, try to be a man" ~Hillel In the Lord's freedom always.... warrior on
My opinion is there are at least 3 ways Christians can still give thanks in 2020. Share your time, treasures, and talents. 1. Share what you have “Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God” (Hebrews 13:16). The sacrifice of praise with the lips (Heb 13:15) is not enough; there must be also DOING GOOD (beneficence) and communicating (that is, imparting a share of your means, Ga 6:6) to the needy. 2. Share your time “Then they sat on the ground with him for seven days and seven nights” (Job 2:13). Job’s 3 friends go so far as to sit with Job for seven days and nights (Job 2:13). They are wise enough — at this point — not to say anything. Comfort comes from the friends’ presence in adversity, not from anything they might say to make things better. Nothing they can say COULD make things better. In the year of a pandemic, it’s getting harder and harder to share our time with others. Be creative. See online helps. 3. Share the Gospel “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20). You say you’re not talented in sharing the Gospel? Do the work of an evangelist anyway.. The Gospel message of expectation and salvation we find in the life of Jesus needs to keep being shared even amidst a pandemic. Individuals are as yet yearning for recovery that must be found in Jesus. Keep on welcoming discussions with unbelievers about confidence and finding their approach to God. Back teachers, neighborhood chapels, and the numerous workers around the globe who are giving a valiant effort to carry the gospel to unreached people groups. Engaging in the incredible commission is an important method to show the profound gratefulness we need to know and follow Jesus.
