The Wisdom of Solomon, often referred to simply as Wisdom, is one of the books of the Bible, which are considered deuterocanonical by some churches such as the Roman Catholic Church and non-canonical or apocryphal by others such as the Protestant Churches. It is one of the seven Sapiential or wisdom books of bound with the Septuagint, along with Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon (Song of Songs), and Sirach. The Book of Wisdom is one of the books declared Scripture by the The Council of Carthage in AD 397. It is also one of the books that were omitted by the British and Foreign Bible Society from publication in 1826.
