Ezekiel 37:1 - 28
ESV - 1 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of the valley; it was full of bones. 2 And he led me around among them, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley, and behold, they were very dry.

I would say that they are not (and were not even in the time of Christ). The ten "lost tribes" of the northern kingdom of Israel were carried into exile by the Assyrians, as noted in 2 Kings 17. However, some of the members of those tribes apparently made their way back to Israel at some point, and lived as one nation with the tribes of Judah and Benjamin, since there is a reference in Luke 2:36 to Anna the prophetess being a member of the tribe of Asher, which would indicate that the northern tribes' identities and lineages had been retained among the members of those tribes who had returned to Israel.
