Will you go to heaven if you live with someone out of wedlock?

Whether God saves a person has nothing to do with their living arrangements or marital status. Whether the Holy Spirit is sent to live with a person has nothing to do with their living arrangements or marital status.

The wind blows wherever it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you don't know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit. (John 3:8)

That's really plain! It was said to a confused "teacher of Israel." A 'man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.' (vs 1). He had no idea what Jesus was talking about. Jesus was telling him how the Spirit of God gives new life to the souls to whom He is sent. Verses 14 & 15 settle it. It isn't written that eternal life is given to souls who live a righteous life; (those who marry instead of live together out of wedlock, who join the right religious organization, get water baptized, take holy communion, pray the sinners prayer, etc, NONE OF THIS!! Here's what John wrote, that Jesus told Nicodemus:

"As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that (here it is) whoever believes in Him may have eternal life." (John 3:14,15)

There's a life IN CHRIST to be lived here in this realm. It can be overlooked if we're not careful. So much emphasis is placed on after this life is over, whether or not we get to a place called heaven, that we can miss the opportunity to enjoy life IN CHRIST right here, right now!! Eternal life begins here!!
