In my humble opinion when I consider the many lands in which my birth may have transpired while here on Gods green Earth. But since He knew me before my birth, He lovingly chose a land called America with all it's blessings for me (thank you LORD). This nation was founded on authenticate Biblical principles that contradict the current ideological incompetence and lawless ineptitude that is in vogue and on display in the leaderless landscape we see today.Mark 10:42; Luke 6:26; Luke 10:21 The spirit had been birthed prior in Israel, but on a foggy April 19th morning in 1775. It was exercised on Lexington green, when the best standing army of the day met and then commanded the first "militiamen" patriots (simple farmers and shop keepers) "lay down your arms, you damned rebels" their answer NO by their actions to the kings lawful command. The spirit was there with our dads in their fight waged in day light, five miles above in the skies of Europe and later on those cold withering beaches of Normandy as they came ashore to free a continent and sadly for some the liberty they struggled to give others, was not theirs at home, (but they had faith that it would be so in the future). Nehemiah 5:19 From the bamboo jungles of yesterday to the current moon scrapes of modern warfare our brave young men and women continue to step forward and raise their right hand, (Note: the oath has no expiration date attached to it) much as their forefathers and past patriots have done for over 240 years. Hebrews 13:8 Label me what you will that's your choice friend, my only defense is that I am so grateful to God for planting me here with the ability to do my small part for freedom and calling a land that produces such a people, as the love story continues proudly my temporal home.......Hebrews 13:14 Consider no two nations in history have freed more people than Israel (Messiah) and America, no matter the latest deceptive diktat from your friendly secular revisionist wizards from the warm and safety of their local state supported faculty lounge. "If a man hasn't discovered something that he will die for, he isn't fit to live" Dr. Martin Luther King jr. "We sleep safe in our beds because rough men stand ready to visit violence on those that would do us harm"........George Orwell In the Lord's freedom always for God and country...................warrior on
Yes, as long as God is first as Michael said. I believe in God and Country with God (the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob) the creator of Heaven and Earth. The God of the Bible. God will bless those individual and Countries that help His chosen people. Israel was the country given to His people by almighty God. Our country was he first to recognize Israel and help Israel and we have been blessed. Now, this country, because of different religions coming in and being politically correct, is starting to lose its Christian roots. The USA is looking else where for answers and is starting to neglect Israel, one of the reasons for our blessings from God. This nation was based on Christian principles straight from the bible. Now we are changing our laws and getting away from the rules set by our creator. Yes, I believe in being patriotic as long as we honor and follow God's laws first.
Patriotism is a good thing if the powers in control are fighting for a righteous cause. Nazi Germany was patriotic but that did not make their conquest for power and control righteous. Patriotism is a virtue that has to be tempered with God's word. Right and wrong can not be followed blindly and blurred out by a patriotic cause. The extermination of all that oppose Trump or Obomba's political objectives can never be determined by unlawful and or immoral actions. Man's laws are a reflection of God's laws viewed by the fun house mirror. It is rarely a perfect reflection of God's ways. God himself says in the Holy Scriptures: My ways are not your ways and my thoughts are not man's ways. Isaiah 55:8-9 So mankind does its best at dispensing justice and our forefathers made many provisions for checks and balances in our government. Even the writers of our constitution said our government would not survive if we took our Heavenly Father's teaching out of the equation. Abortion, the murder of the unborn, is still legal in America and most of the world. Yet millions of parents are always waiting in line to adopt orphans from Third World countries. Why can't we replace the abortion process with a full adoption process for any unwanted child and stop the murdering? My point is patriotism is not a license for murder or extermination. Patriotism should always be defending the liberty of man's right to choose right over wrong. The right to murder can never be considered a patriotic right or duty.
