What does the bible say about imagined illnesses?

I have met many who complain of wifi sensitivity. As a research scientist I find it difficult to understand or reconcile this. Is demonic influence playing a role here? How should I respond?

I'm not sure that the BIble addresses imagined illnesses directly, but I am aware of passages (particularly in Proverbs, such as Proverbs 22:13 and Proverbs 26:13) indicating that people will invent hazards to provide an excuse for acting (or especially not acting) in a certain manner (particularly when their chosen course of action is reflective of negative personality traits, such as -- in the case of the cited verses -- being a "sluggard").

Aside from any Biblical connection, in today's litigious environment, there might also be financial motives for claiming such conditions and attributing them to the activities of identifiable or alleged sources that affected individuals could seek to hold legally liable.
