Who will not go to heaven?

It is sometimes confusing why people have different views, thus, concerning the applicability of the law of Moses, and the ten commandments, I thought that to reverse the argument may give better clarity. Who will not go to haven, and reverse engineer the reason, applicable to the law and the commandments.

Unbelievers. John 3:18. Believers are no longer condemned, but unbelievers are condemned already because they have not believed on the name of the Son of God.

First John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the son of God, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.

John 10:28-29. Romans 3:26-28. Romans 4:5-8. First John 2:2. For He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but for the sins of the whole world.

But, only believers are saved. Romans 1:16. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, (First Corinthians 15:3-4) For it is the POWER of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVETH, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

First Corinthians 1:18. First Corinthians 1:21. Those that hear the gospel and believe the gospel are given eternal life.

Sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption. Ephesians 1:13-14. Ephesians 4:30. John 6:40. John 6:47. God cannot lie. John 3:16. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, that WHOSOEVER, believeth in Him, should not perish, but HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.

Romans 6:23. The gift of God is eternal life. Once we receive the free gift we are saved forever.

Perfect question, Pierre! "Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."

5 "For you may be sure of this, that everyone who is sexually immoral or impure, or who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God."

Galatians 5:19 - 5:21

Galatians Chapter 5

19 "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."

Prosperity teachers, "trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever."

"As for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."

Revelation 22:15

“For without [outside] are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.” I.e.," everyone who loves and practices falsehood!" This was me before Jesus found me and saved me. I was ashamed that I was a liar. But He changed my heart into one who desires to be truthful! Even when scared!

On one level, this is easy: "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will will be saved,.... (Acts16:31). This and many other verses clearly state belief in Christ is the way to salvation. On the other hand I am loath to say who will be saved in that it is God's plan and he may surprise people. (C.S Lewis' Great Divorce is helpful here). He is the only judge as to our eternal destiny. I believe that some people have been too quick to condemn people to hell, just as others have been too quick to usher them into the kingdom. So with assurance I can say that only through Christ can one be saved, but it is ultimately God's determination, so I won't say who goes where in the end.

There are differences between the ceremonial law, or Moses’ Law (ML), and the Ten Commandments (TC). The TC are eternal and defines what sin is (Rom 7:7).

On the other hand, ML addressed the sin problem and offers a solution. God wrote the TC on two tables of stone, and Moses wrote the ceremonial law in a book (Ex 31:18; 32:16).

ML dealt with sanctuary activities and foreshadowed the ministry of Christ, while the TC shows our sinful state and points us to the only One who could save, Jesus Christ.

At the Cross, Christ became the sacrificial Lamb and thus fulfilled the obligation of ML (Col 2:14) - the sacrificial law and its ordinances were done away with.

The TC, however, are still valid and binding; the day before Christ died on the Cross, murder was a sin just as is today, 2000 years later.

Now about the question about who will not make it to heaven, all I can point to is what the Bible is saying about the subject:

Matt. 7:21-23

Romans 1:24-27

1 Corinthians 5:11

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Ephesians 5:5-7

Galatians 5:19-21

Jude 1:7

Revelation 20:15

Revelation 21:7-8

Revelation 21:27

And I would like to end with a positive message, about those who will inherit the Kingdom:

"Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus" (Rev 14:12).

Surprisingly, I believe that the Bible indicates that everyone will get a 'taste' of heaven while standing before the Judgment Seat of GOD, so we could say that 'everyone' goes to heaven. The debate is really about who gets to 'stay' in heaven.

It is because evil will be permitted this access that GOD has created a brand new heaven and earth which will be the exclusive 'home of righteousness.' He will only unveil this new creation after evil is openly judged and separated from Him forever on the other side of an 'untraversable chasm,' (Luke 16:26, Revelation 21).

I also believe that the parables of Jesus strongly imply that unrighteous men will even someday 'discover' the current heaven on their own using science, wandering in inadvertently and being 'exposed' and 'cast into outer darkness' because they are not 'properly clothed' in the righteousness of Christ, (Matthew 22:11-14, Galatians 3:27). This 'outer darkness' is also described as an endless abyss, fiery and waterless, vast and untraversable. By all descriptions, it certainly appears to be what modern people call 'space.' The 'weeping and gnashing of teeth' indicates that their experience will likely not resemble 'Star Trek' or any other enjoyable atheistic fantasy.

Satan himself was also cast out of the current 'heaven' so GOD views it as 'tainted' and in need of replacement. That is likely why those driven even by his current 'atheistic science' will manage to briefly enter it, thereby changing their own cosmology and viewpoints of the universe just long enough to face exposure and judgment for their openly blasphemous and destructive activities. The only mitigation of this judgment has been 'ignorance' since they fail to even believe in the source of their own evil inspirations. As their science advances, this ignorance will abate and they will ultimately face divine judgment.

GOD actually finds the entire futile endeavor 'laughable,' (Psalm 2:1-4).
