Romans 11:36
"For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen."

Colossians 1:16-17
"16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist."

Psalm 94:11
"The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity."

Romans 8:29
"For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren."

It is difficult for our finite minds to comprehend, but God's mind is infinite. He knew all things before existence and knows us better than we know ourselves, our entire lives and thoughts! He knew we would need a savior and He knew who would believe the gospel of His grace. This is why "the elect" are predestined to be in Jesus Christ. They are predestined because He knew how they today, through their free will, would believe or reject the gospel of Christ crucified (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

1 Corinthians 1:21
"For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe."

Truly amazing!
