The key issue with IVF is not the goal of infertile couples to have children of course, but of how many fertilized eggs might be discarded. It would only be different from abortion in degree rather than kind, and technically it ends more lives than abortion.

Though the Bible doesn't explicitly say that abortion or any other means of ending a baby's life is wrong, we know that only God has the right to take life, except for what is delegated to government to execute criminals. Therefore ending any innocent life is wrong.

So IVF would be okay if no fertilized eggs were discarded, but I'm not sure that's ever the case. Certainly it's good for couples to want children, but God's will must be sought above all.
