The star of David symbol as found on the flag of modern Israel is mentioned in the Bible on many occasions, however never as the star of David or condoned by David. This is the star of Remphan also Moloch. Stephen brings this star of Remphan up in Acts 7:43. Throughout the Old Testament the worship of Moloch was condemned. Leviticus 18:21, 20:2-3 and Jerimiah 7:18,31 32:35 are examples. However, as seen in Amos 5:26-27 the worship continued.
