I don't know a lot about him, but I did find this interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfWQOlxDCcA. At about the 11 min. Mark he states that he doesn't mind if catholics pray to Mary for him and that it's not a big deal. But it certainly is; only God can hear prayers. To pray to anyone else is to treat them as God, which is idolatry. Most of his theological stances are fine and he makes some valid observations. But it seems from this interview that there are some serious concerns about tolerance for heresy.
