How wonderful this sharing is. In the age in which we live, this truth is known by the few women who have come to know The Lord's Salvation experiencially. If you have not been made familiar w/these truths in your childhood, teenhood and young adulthood, your understanding and behavior will eventually become altered if you enter into a genuine relationship w/The Living God. If you view these truths from a legal aspect without experiencing The Holy Spirit's leading, you will assume that these words are an effort to try and manipulate you for your spouse's benefit. (The males in your life) I got saved after I was married. In fact, one year later as I began to realize that the vows I took didn't seem possible to honor as I found myself less than satisfied w/my marriage. My 18 year old mind had concluded that marriage to a handsome young man would fullfill that deep longing in my heart. I think most married people can confess that "it wasn't what they thought it would be". Thankfully, I did discover that it is God who fills the deepest part of our souls and the peace and joy and real love grow out of that wonderful relationship. I was very blessed that my young husband came to also know The Savior several years down the road as well. Being arranged according to God's beautiful, fulfilling relationship that He has for us has taken years of adjusting and learning to yeild to one another in Love and be honest and transparent w/each other to get through the rough spots. I'm so very thankful for God's Love and Mercy and Patience in working through His Holy Spirit to make me his female vessel to bless my male counterpart. It is definitely not a hardship in any way but The Cross of Christ definitely has to be applied to my untransformed soul. It's an awesome exchange to get the Best God has for marriage! I boast in The Grace of God through Christ Jesus My Lord and Savior!

What Does it Mean to be a Woman of God? A woman of God is a believer who is dedicated to a covenant walk with Jesus Christ (John 3:16-17). This woman is a born again Christian who submits to the authority and the revelation of Scripture. She is steadfast in her devotion to Christ and in service to God through her skills, talents, and abilities. She submits to Christian fellowship and seeks every opportunity to faithfully serve in the church. She is dedicated to Christian witness in her community of context. If she is not married yet, she will focus on building a godly relationship with believers. If she is a married woman, she seeks to influence and shape her family along Christian values. The woman of God is therefore an icon of Christian faithfulness. She honours and serves Christ. Mary mother of Jesus, Mary Magdalene and Dorcas are examples of New Testament believers who exemplified unflinching devotion and steadfastness in their Christian faith. Mary mother of Jesus accepted her divine calling to conceive by the Holy Spirit and raise forth the Messiah. Mary Magdalene sought Christ at the tomb and was rewarded by His appearance to her (John 20:11-18). Dorcas was raised from the dead by Peter on account of her outstanding generosity and charitable work that transformed the lives of widows in her community (Acts 9:36-43). In the Old Testament Scriptures, a number of women stood out for their godly convictions and courage. These include Sarah, Rahab, Esther, Ruth, Naomi, Deborah, among others.

What does it mean to be a woman of God? When I think about what it means to be a woman of God, it does not feel like a title or a badge. It feels more like a way of living, a way of turning toward God in the middle of ordinary days. Scripture doesn't give a single definition, but it offers glimpses—small moments, real people, honest prayers. Proverbs 31 describes a woman who fears the Lord, and that fear is not terror; it is reverence, a steady awareness that her life is anchored in God. Her strength comes from that anchor, not from her own perfection. Mary in Luke 1 shows another angle. Her response to God — "Let it be to me according to your word" — reveals a heart willing to trust even when the path is unclear. She is not portrayed as someone who has everything figured out. She listens, believes, and follows. That quiet obedience becomes part of God's story. Esther shows courage. Not loud courage, but the kind that steps forward when stepping back would be easier. Her willingness to act, even with fear present, reflects a heart shaped by faith. "If I perish, I perish" is not a dramatic slogan; it is a recognition that doing what is right matters more than comfort. Paul's words in Galatians 5 point to the inner life of a woman of God. The fruit of the Spirit — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self‑control — are not traits she forces into existence. They grow as she stays close to God. They show up in how she speaks, how she forgives, how she handles frustration, how she treats people who cannot offer her anything in return. There is also the steady trust described in Proverbs 3:5–6: leaning on God rather than her own understanding. A woman of God learns to bring her worries, her hopes, her questions to Him. She does not pretend to be strong all the time. She learns that strength often looks like dependence — real dependence on a faithful God. Psalm 46:5 says, "God is within her; she will not fall." It does not promise she will never stumble. It means God holds her, supports her, steadies her. Her identity is not built on achievements or roles but on belonging to Him. So being a woman of God is not about meeting a spiritual checklist. It is about walking with God in a way that shapes her character, her choices, her relationships. It is about becoming someone whose life quietly reflects His heart — in kindness, in courage, in truthfulness, in faith. It is a journey, not a performance. A slow shaping, a steady growing, a life lived with God at the centre. Summarising the whole subject A woman of God is someone whose life is shaped by her trust in God and her willingness to follow Him. Scripture shows this through women like Mary, who accepted God's direction with faith, and Esther, who acted bravely when it mattered. Proverbs 31 highlights a woman whose strength comes from honouring God, not from meeting expectations. The fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5 reflects the character God forms in her — qualities like patience, kindness, and self‑control. She learns to rely on God's wisdom, as Proverbs 3:5–6 teaches, bringing her decisions and concerns to Him. Her identity rests in God's presence, and Psalm 46:5 reminds her that He sustains her. Being a woman of God is a steady, ongoing journey of letting Him shape her heart and actions.
