Exodus 3:2 The Burning Bush 2 "And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush. He looked, and behold, the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed." I've heard this said: "While Moses is out watching the family's flock, near a place they call the Mountain of God, guess who appears to him? The angel of the capital L, capital O, capital R, capital D. This is a theophony, a divine visitation. Another ancient translation refers to this being who has appeared as the Word, which is one of the names used to describe Jesus in the New Testament. So we have a lot of reason to believe this is God the Son. Not only that, but the angel appears to him in a fire, which is another common way we've talked about God. appearing. And the fire is on a bush, so imagine an angel who looks like a human male, on fire, in a bush, talking. Meanwhile, nothing is actually being burned even though it's all on fire." However, I can't find the ancient translation saying this.

Exodus 3:2: And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was consumed. Right from the beginning of the creation, “God created the heaven and the earth,” and the “Spirit of God” moved upon the face of the waters. God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness,” and God created man in His own image, male and female created He them. Lord God walked in the garden, and E’-noch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him. (Gen 1:2,26-27,3:8,5:24) After the floods, Noah’s son had mighty ones on the earth, for before the flood, the sons of God took the daughters of men, having mighty ones that were born. Lord God walked in the garden, and then came to see the tower of Babel that was built by the mighty ones, born of the sons of God that took the daughters of men on the earth. The Lord then scattered them and spoke to Abram, to go out of thy country, from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee: (Gen 3:8,5:24,6:2,11:5,12:1) The Lord then appeared unto Abram and said, “I am the 'Almighty God” and made a covenant with him, and then said, “Thy name shall now be called Abraham.” The Lord then appeared in the plains of Mam’-re, when he lifted up his eyes and looked, “three men stood by him.” Lot, who then went with Abraham, two angels came to Sodom as the Lord sent them to destroy it. The Lord then rained upon Sodom and Go-mor’-rah brimstone and fire from the Lord (God) out of heaven. The three men who stood with Abraham. One was the Lord and the “other two angels,” who were then sent to Lot. (Gen 17:1,5,18:1,19:1,13,24/John 8:56) Abraham was also then tested by the Lord God to take his son to Mo-ri-ah to offer him as a burnt offering. The angel of the Lord then called out to him, “Lay not thine hand upon thy lad, for I know thou fearest God, thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.” (Gen 22:1-2,9-12) The Angel of the Lord that appeared in a flame of fire out of the midst of the bush, God the Father called Moses out of the midst of the bush. Go gather the elders of Israel and say unto them, “The Lord God of your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, will bring you out of the affliction of Egypt.” (Exo 3:2,15-16/Lk 20:37) When Moses brought the Israelites out of Egypt, the Lord God spoke unto him, “I send an angel before thee, beware of Him, obey His voice, provoke Him not for my name is in Him.” (Exo 23:20-22) “The Angel of the Lord that was sent was our Lord Jesus.” Moses, when he came down from the mount, saw them worshipping idols; he cast the tables of stone written with the finger of God, and broke them beneath the mount. The Lord then said to Moses, “Hew thee two tables of stone.” Lord (Jesus) then descended in the cloud and stood with Moses after he hewed two tables of stone and spoke to him the commandments and said unto Moses, “Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.” (Exo 31:18,32:2,4,19/34:27) John 5:46: For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. John 6:62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
