If the Word of God is not bound, why must we pray that it would have "free course"?
2 Timothy 2:9 for which I am suffering, bound with chains as a criminal. But the word of God is not bound! 2 Thessalonians 3:1 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified, even as it is with you,

ESV - 1 You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
