The saving gospel is very clearly stated by the apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4:

V. 1 "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;"

V. 2 "By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain."

V. 3 "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;"

V. 4 "And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day" according to the scriptures:"

Romans 10:9-10

V. 9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
V. 10 "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

This is it, anything else is considered "another gospel", a false gospel.

Galatians 1:

1 Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)

2 And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:

3 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,

4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: 5 To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Jesus said that preaching the kingdom of God was what he was sent to proclaim!

Luke 4:43 And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

Paul with zeal followed in the footsteps of his lord and saviour Jesus and preached the kingdom of God everywhere he went!

Acts 1:3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

Acts 19:8 And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.

Acts 28:23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.

Acts 28:31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

Philip the evangelist preached the full good news message about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus the anointed one. In preaching about the name of Jesus, he would certainly have included all about why he had to die and be resurrected and that he was now the lord Messiah seat at the right hand of his God and his Father.

Are we not to obey the command that Jesus has given to all men and women who believe and trust in him?

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness;

Notice: I think that Act 28:31 is a great definition of what preaching the Good News - the Gospel is all about. It is what Jesus preached before his death and resurrection, it is what he preached after his death and resurrection. It is what his apostle Paul preached all the time. Paul preached the Kingdom of God and taught the things which concern the Lord Jesus God's anointed one - the King of Israel, such as the meaning of his death and of his resurrection for all those who are led to believe and trust in him.The great hope that every believer should have is to look forward to co-ruling and co-inheriting all things with Jesus when he returns to take up his rule as God's vice-regent here on earth at Zion. We will co-inherit and co-rule with him as glorified immortal men and women and we shall look exactly like Jesus appears now. When we just mention the death and resurrection of Jesus we are only preaching half the good news message and leaving off the message he wanted broadcast all over the world.

it just blows me away that the good news message that provides real hope for the future that was all Jesus talked about, and preached is seldom a topic if at all in most churches in Christendom to-day... Amazing is it not that the very message that Jesus thought was vital to be preached to all the world isn't being preached by the very people who say they represent him... Amazing and a sad commentary on how far we have departed from what should be our main duty to carry out.

Those who are being brought to the anointed one Jesus need to hear first and foremost the message that he preached all the time, the message about the coming Kingdom of God; which he is going to rule over when he returns to take position seated on the throne of David at Jerusalem with all of us who will be glorified immortal men and woman assigned to various positions in the established Theocratic Government which Jesus will be at the head as King of kings and Lord of lords carrying out his Father's will and plan.

When that good news message is preached the spirit of God goes with it to open the hearts of those who hear and draw them to the lord Jesus His anointed one.

What are the essentials of the gospel message? The gospel is called the good news. Why is it called the good news? It is good news to know that someone who has been in captivity of sin and death, can be free and receive salvation and deliverance from sin...this is good news.

This good news is possible only because of what Christ did on the cross, which is called the gospel message.

There are three essential components of this gospel message summarized in 1 Corinthians 15:1-3... It's a historical fact:

1. His death on the cross:
God can never overlook sin. The bible teaches that all have sinned and have fallen below God's expectation and the penalty for all sin is death. By His death on the cross, Jesus paid the price for our sins thereby paving the way for God's forgiveness for all those who will accept His provision.

2. His burial..His burial is the proof of His death. The tomb of Jesus is a proof that he died. Without burial there can be no resurrection. This has significance in our christian experience...we are baptized into Christ's death, i.e. buried with Him in baptism, to arise into newness of life. Rom 6:3-4.

3. His resurrection. The significance of his resurrection is that death has been defeated...giving assurance that those who died in Christ are not perished but will resurrect on the last day. If Christ is not raised from death, the gospel message is baseless and we are still in our sin.

These are the three essential components of the gospel message accomplished on the cross. No man can bypass the cross and still see God. This is the main difference between Christianity and every other religion.

Gospel means a good news, but it also means an evil news because man has a knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 3: 22).

The good news is whoever believes in Jesus is not condemned, and the evil news is whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he/she has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. (John 3: 16-18).

So, the essentials of the Gospels are: God loves man and demands man to love God in order to gain an eternal life through Jesus (John 14: 6, 15-31).

What are the essentials of the gospel message?

Acts 8:12: But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus the anointed one, they were baptized, both men and women.

Notice: Luke 8:12: Those by the way side are they that hear; then comes the devil, and takes away the word [about the kingdom of God] out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

Notice that Mat:13: 19 When any one hears the word of the kingdom, and understands it not, then comes the wicked one, and catches away that which was sown in his heart....

So we understand from these verses that Satan is the enemy of the preaching of the word about the coming kingdom of God. Why? Because one needs to understand what the message about the kingdom of God is in order to be saved! (Luke 8:12).

So first and foremost the essentials of the good news message [gospel] that Jesus brought are the preaching of the good news about the coiming kingdom of God and about his name which is Jesus who is the anointed one, the Messiah, the coming King of Israel. And since we have been grafted into the Israel of God [Romans 11:] he is our King. We need to realize that Jesus and his disciples preached the gospel about the kingdom of God long before there was any mention of Jesus death and resurrection and after his resurrection that same message continued to be preached to the world even as he commanded. Notice Act 28:30-31: And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him, preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, The things concerning Jesus was about his death, resurrection and looking forward to the time when he will return to sit on the throne of David at Jerusalem ruling over all the nations as a glorified immortal man and doing so with all those who have been resurrected to co-rule and co-inherit all things with him.

Unfortunately, that good news message is not being preached completely to-day. We only hear about the death and resurrection of Jesus and nothing about the soon coming kingdom of God. The message one has to understand in order to be saved... Luke 8:12.. Why are no preachers to-day constantly preaching about the kingdom of God as Jesus did his whole ministry? Why are we not being taught more about how the sermon of the mount was given to help us know how to prepare to be a co-ruler in that soon coming Kingdom of God. When the Kingdom of God arrives it will be the establishment of the Theocratic Government of God set up at Zion where Jesus will reign as King of Israel and King of Kings and Lord of lords over all the nations of the world who will come up to pay homage to him at the Feast of Tabernacles every year.

Zech:14:16 ¶ And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, Yehovah of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of armies of heaven, even upon them shall be no rain.

Again, where is the gospel of the Kingdom of God being preached to-day?
Why is it not the emphasis of preachers to-day, it was at the forefront of the message Jesus brought to Israel and that he wanted preached to the world!

The whole of the scripture is about God's redemption plan starting at Genesis 3:15: where God prophesies that a man born of a woman will have a son who will defeat the Adversary - Serpent - Satan and thus bring about a restitution of all things as they were at the beginning. So we know that the one predicted in Gen:3:15 is the son of God, the lord Messiah Jesus, who defeated Satan on the tree and by his shed blood reconciled all of humanity to his God and his Father Yehovah.

Now, all anyone in the world needs to do to be delivered from God's Wrath is to believe in the one He has sent and believing in him to obey his command to repent and be baptized, immersed completely in water. When we enter into the water we are saying before our God that we are reckoning ourselves as dead to self and coming out of the water we realize a newness of life, become a new creation, filled with the Spirit - Breath - Love of Yehovah. At that moment we have gone through a regeneration process. But that is just the beginning now we need to be renewed in our hearts and minds to become like our elder brother the lord Jesus and God enables us to do that by the power of His Spirit - Breath - Love indwelling us.

At that time we have been grafted into the Israel of Yehovah - God, become members of His household, members of His congregation, members of the body of His anointed one and members of His called-out Assembly. We are also recognized by our God as His temples individually and collectively because of His indwelling Spirit - Breath - Love in us. We also become heirs of the promises made to Abraham and his "seed" Jesus God's anointed one. And we look forward to co-ruling with the lord Jesus in the coming kingdom of God when he will rule over all the nations as King of kings and Lord of lords at that time with all the nations' representatives coming up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles at Jerusalem - Zion... see Zech 14.

Jesus also ratified the New Covenant by his shed blood which he said he would do as that prophet, the one Moses spoke about - Deut:18:15; Acts 3:22; Act 7:37.

So, as those who are under the New Covenant what are we to do? We are to live according to the CREED OF JESUS: Mark 12:28-34.... His creed says we are to love God totally committed to him in obedience and to love our neighbors as ourselves! That is impossible for us to do unless we are enabled by the Spirit - Breath - Love of Yehovah indwelling us. As we submit to His indwelling Spirit - Breath - love we will become servant towards all our neighbors even as Jesus was the greatest servant of all and still is at this very moment, interceding for us as our High Priest and coming along side us to help and assist us as we walk on the narrow road towards the coming kingdom of God which is all that Jesus talked and preached about.

WE are all destined at the resurrection to enter into the coming new age ruling in the Theocratic Government that Jesus will establish and co-rule over all the surviving nation during the 1,000 year rule.

What an amazing opportunity our God and Father has envisioned for us and to get where He wants us to be all we need to do is submit to the guidance of His Spirit - Breath - Love which enables us to obey the words that He gave Jesus to give to us.

Notice what Jesus says: Mt 7:21 "Not every one that says unto me, ‘lord, lord,’ shall enter into the Kingdom of God, but he that does the will of my Father who is in Heaven. Again: If we don't obey the words that Yehovah gave to His anointed one Jesus then you won't be in the kingdom of God. Lu 6:46 "And why do you call me, ‘lord, lord,’ and do not the things which I say? So believing in Jesus isn't all there is, after believing that he is the one whom God has sent and being baptized we all now need to go forward keeping the creed of Jesus enabled by his indwelling spirit and the Spirit - Breath - Love of Yehovah and preach about the soon coming kingdom of God.

The essentials of the gospel are the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If you don't believe the resurrection, then the Scriptures are false and unreliable, for ‘He rose again the third day ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES’ 1 Cor.15:4.

"The gospel is not only a message of salvation, but also the instrument through which the Holy Spirit works (Rom 1:16)." --ISBE (International Standard Bible Encyclopedia)

When the Philippian Jailor asked Paul, What must I do to be saved? Paul told him. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved and thy house.

Direct and to the point. John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me HATH EVERLASTING LIFE. You can not lose it or it would not be eternal.

First John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know ye have eternal life.

John 6:40 And this is the will of Him who sent me, that all that seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life, and I will raise him up on the last day.

John 3:16. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, that whosoever, believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus said it, we believe it and that settles it.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, and we all sin, First John 1:8, and we all die, but the GIFT of God is eternal life.

What do you have to do to receive a gift? Nothing, or it would not be a gift.

The "gospel of the kingdom of God", is the "gospel of salvation". But, how are they synonymous? Please follow me on this progression of "mocking" thought by Isaiah, "precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, there a little" (Isa. 28:10,13).

Remember, that mankind was made in the "image" (or likeness, and it was so) of YHVH Elohim (Gen.1&2) to have (future) dominion (radah,to subjugate) over all earth (Gen.1:26-28). Moreover, that the "world to come" will not be "subject" (again) to angels but to mankind (Heb.2:5-18). And also, that the Lamb was "slain from the foundation of the world" (Rev.13:8). Indeed, it goes back even before the beginning of this world.

There is this strategic plan that while God did not like mankind to sin, man was created "very good" but still mortal and can die, even without sinning. He was "very good" as a "formed clay" but still "incomplete" as God will re-visit this "marred clay" as a potter can do to any clay to make it better, into "another vessel"(Jer. 18:4).

However, in the garden of Eden, Adam sinned against God's commandment, "thou shall not eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.. as he would surely die"(Gen.2:17). What death was God referring to? Notice this, "As it was once appointed that man would die and after that, the judgment" (Heb. 9:27), therefore everyone will die (naturally, being mortal) then be resurrected to be judged as to the final destiny: "eternal life or "eternal death".

The death therefore that God was referring to in Gen. 2:17 was not "mortal death" that everyone was "once appointed" to be resurrected from. It has to be "eternal death", from which there is no resurrection. The sin of Adam warrants eternal death not mortal death. Mankind will all die being mortals and be resurrected, but will be facing the judgment of eternal life or eternal death. The sin of Adam has a consequence of "eternal death" from which by substitution was imputed to the death of Jesus. That death of Jesus could have been eternal had it not been for the promise of Father God that Jesus would be resurrected. The faith (of) Jesus (in) the Father is anchored securely on this. Jesus' death was an imputation for the "eternal death", not the physical or mortal death. As Jesus was resurrected from what could have been "eternal death", so shall those who follow Jesus as he is "bringing many sons to glory" (Rom. 2:10).

The sin of Adam is punishable with "eternal death" that would have separated mankind "eternally" from the Father. The God of Gen. 1 & 2, the YHVH ELOHIM/Lord God has to incarnate and die so that mankind would be reconciled to the Father. But, his death was only for reconciliation, not for salvation. Instead, we are saved "by his life", i.e., Jesus has to be resurrected, for what? Notice, John 16:7 and John 14:16,26 that he has to be resurrected to "life", so the Holy Spirit will be sent to us "to dwell" in us (Acts 2). Why should the H.S. dwell in us? So that we will power (Acts1:8) and for sanctification (1Pet.1:2;Rom. 15:16;I Cor.6:11; II Thes 2:13).
This HS provides spirit-power for "cognition, conviction, affection" and "oneness" with God. As circumcision is a "seal" to identify Israel, so is the HS a seal (Jn.6:7;2 Cor. 1:21-22; Eph. 1:13-14; 4:30; 2Cor. 5:5).

This HS prepares us to have the "mind of Christ", so that at resurrection and endowed with spirit-body we will "be like him" and no longer just "an "image" (Gen. 1) but co-substance with God.

Finally, "salvation" is about becoming a "new creation", a "kingdom of God". When God created living things, he created angelic-kingdom, plant-kingdom, and animal-kingdom. But, when it came to "man", God was not creating a "human kingdom", instead, God was creating a kingdom composed of spirit beings "like him", a " kingdom of God" and above angelic beings. The kingdom of God is more than just a "government of God" and a place. It is a "new creation".

What an awesome gospel and destiny of man.

The gospel is all the bible has to say about God's redemption plan for all humanity in His Son Jesus Christ through all Christ did from the cross all the way to heaven to be received by faith in Christ. It also states the fact that He will return and all the earth will give account to Him. All of this is the will of God the Father.

The Gospel is Jesus. Please read Luke 23:

39 One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”
40 But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? 41 We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”
42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
43 Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

He was a man like me, who deserved to go to the lake of fire, but Jesus guaranteed heaven, by the unmerited favour of God alone.

This is reconfirmed in His Word:
John 1:
11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

1 John 5:
9 We accept human testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which he has given about his Son. 10 Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. 11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
