In recent years, genome mapping has enabled detailed comparisons between human and chimp DNA. Many have claimed that humans and chimpanzees share over 98% of their DNA. This is often taken as decis...

Most evolutionists speak of how genes are programmed to create complex organs like eyes. They won't admit that there is a Master Programmer. One example is the discovery of the Master Eye Gene. This gene will form a complete eye anywhere on the body of fruit fly or a mouse. The fruit fly eye gene put into a mouse cell will make a mouse eye and the mouse eye gene put into a fruit fly cell will make a complete complex fruit fly eye. In either case the eyes can see. The eye is a complex organ with a very specific purpose. Do you see what I mean? The Master Programmer made it possible. He gave us eyes to see and understand by His Spirit.
My opinion on this matter is simple...if there were such a thing as ape to man evolution we would see apes turning into men or would have seen or will continue to see it. God said in Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. There is no case for evolution period.
If one selects certain portions of the human genome, then the difference between human and chimp DNA would be about one percent. Using selected portions one could probably shown a one percent difference between tomatoes and us. However, comparing the whole genome there appears to be more like a greater than 20 % difference between chimps and us. That translates to a massive 460 million base pair difference (and rising). To conclude, it is a scientific impossibility that chimps are the precursor of Homo Sapiens, viz us.
When scientists state that the DNA in chimpanzees and humans is 98% similar, it must be pointed out that not every part of the DNAs have been compared. Before evolutionists realized that so-called pseudo-genes actually do something, these genes were ignored, as they believed these genes were useless, mutated genes. If the entire genome were compared between humans and chimpanzees, it will reveal that only approximately 85% of the chimpanzee DNA is the same as human DNA.
