God is a God of love and He primarily wants to bring us all to repentance from our sin. For some He uses gentle nudges, for some He uses more coarse circumstances in life. Single parent fathers and single parent mothers, which are in the situation they are in because of either bad choices of their own or by bad choices of other people causing it; or simply through tragic life circumstances are all on His list of lost. I came to salvation through difficult life circumstances bringing me very low and when we have nowhere left to go, we see our limitations in total clarity when He reveals Himself to us and when we are single parents we need the best to guide us. God's love speaks to single parents as a whole, mothers and fathers. He is the ultimate loving Father and He wants to help us to find a life worth living in what we from a human sense see as hopeless circumstances. Many single parents are victims of judgment of various measures when circumstances are presumed instead of known and it is unfortunate when this is at the expense of church attendance. I believe God says to single parents - come drink of the water of life and thirst no more.
I think that God has a special purpose for single mothers, who are sometimes forced into such situations. And God blesses them too.
