Simply put, without Jesus' death on the cross for our sins, no one would have eternal life. Jesus Himself said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through m...

When Jesus willingly gave himself up to be crucified he was obediently following the will of his God and his Father.

When he died he became a sinless sacrificial sin offering acceptable to his God and his Father.

As a result because of what Jesus did all of mankind was reconciled to God, and all those who receive and live by the message that Jesus preached are reconciled to God.

If they go on to obey him and are baptized; they enter to water walking into their death to self; and therefore before God's Court of Justice are pronounced not guilty of their sins and therefore in His anointed one Jesus are considered to be righteous because of the power of the spirit of Jesus indwelling them.

Therefore at baptism one becomes regenerate but that is only the beginning what need to take place in the life of a newly baptized person, because after regeneration comes renewal, and a striving for perfect which is to become more Christlike in all one does.

What does it mean for Jesus to die for our sins. Well it introduces us into the opportunity to become new creations in him and with his spirit indwelling us we become individually a temple of Yehhovah, and are considered sons/daughters of Yehovah, members of the body of Christ, members of the congregation of God, members of the household of God and as grafted into the olive tree to become a part of the spiritual Israel of God, having a circumcision of the heart as a part of the commonwealth of Israel.

Amazing Grace. We have all this from the hand of Yehovah as a result of the death and shed blood of the lord Jesus IF we accept him as our lord and King [Messiah]. As not only that but with all of that we have the hope of being a part of the Theocratic Government that Jesus is going to the head of at Zion when he comes back to rule over Israel and the nations as King of kings and Lord of lords. Praise Yehovah!

God, being God, makes the rules of the Universe. Also, being God, anything He speaks has to happen. In the Bible, The Word of God, God said: "the wages of sin is death". He also said "There are none without sin, no not one".

These two statements taken together mean that since we have all sinned, we are ALL sentenced to die."

How then can we be Saved and have eternal life? Lets say that I wanted to Save you so I go before God and say "God I wish to save my friend so he does not have to die."

God would say: "The wages of sin is death."

To which you I would reply: "I am willing to die for him targeting live."

God would then say: "But you too have sinned, you already owe your life to Sin. You cannot give it to save another. Only someone who has never sinned may give there life for someone else's sin."

And we know that Jesus was the only person who never sinned. The Good News is he was willing and gave up his life (no, it was not taken from him. He Could of saved himself at any time). He willingly laid down his life for all those who would believe in Him including you and me! Your sin, if you just believe has been paid for. You don't have to die! Good News indeed!

First John 2:2 and He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but for the sins of the whole world. But only those who put their trust in Him are saved. Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of our salvation, in whom also after ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of Promise. Born again, born of God.

John 10:28-29. And I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. And my Father who is greater than all, no one can pluck us out of his hand.

We all deserve to go to hell. We are all sinners to a degree, because there are none righteous, no not one. So, Jesus, Just because He loved us took the punishment we deserve, so that anyone who would believe He did it for them, would be saved. His blood sacrifice was once for all sin forever, to those who believe.

We are justified by faith, and have nothing to boast in. Jesus paid it all and we paid 0; It is a free GIFT from God to everyone that believeth, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16 We can never be condemned to hell again. John 3:18. John 3:36.

John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say onto you, he that believeth on me, HATH EVERLASTING LIFE.

Romans 4:6-8 Blessed is the man to whom he imputes righteousness apart from works. And whom he will no more impute sin to our account. Jesus paid our sin debt in full forever, and will no more cast us out. John 6:37.

John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the children of God, even to them that believe on HIs name.

First John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. Our salvation is based on His blood sacrifice for all our sins past, present, and future.

First Corinthians 15:3-4 That Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures, that He was buried and rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures. When we believe He did it for us, we are given the Holy Spirit of promise, and eternal life. Second Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless, the foundation of God is sure, having this seal, (the Holy Spirit) the Lord knoweth them that are His, and let everyone that nameth the name of God depart from iniquity.

AMAZING GRACE, JESUS PAID IT ALL AND WE PAID 0. IT IS FREE.

It was on that old cross Jesus suffered and died,
To pardon and sanctify me. (Hebrews 10:10).

On that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied (Romans 5:8-9).

That Jesus died for our sins means that any accusation and condemning evidence that God has against us is (has been) nailed to the cross, and we bear it no longer. (Colossians 2:13-14) PTL!

It means that we have peace with God (Ro 5:1) and also peace within ourselves (Phil. 4:7), peace of mind.

Jesus dying for our sins means that God, not sparing His Son, sent Him to die (Romans 8:32). Can you take that in? Scarcely! That on the cross He gladly bore our burden (Heb. 12:2), bleeding and dying to take away our sin.
(1 John 3:5) --5 You know that he appeared to take away sins, and in him there is no sin.

"This is real love--not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins." (1 John 4:10)
