Love your neighbour as thyself is a biblical principle that enhances mentorship and mentoring activity. Mentoring is providing professional guidance to someone of low knowledge such as to develop competency and maturity on the job. Wisdom is walking in the path of righteousness, and according to the scriptures it does not come without adequate guidance and mentoring, Proverbs 13:1, " A wise son heeds his father’s instruction, but a mocker does not respond to rebukes".
