If the Bible is the inspired word of God [2 Timothy 3:16] and if Jesus is God's Son and He claimed the Scriptures are God's Word [Matthew 21:13, Luke 4:27, John 14:24] then the Bible is relevant then, now and forever. For anything to be relevant to humans, means it has an impact on humanity and the Bible has had an impact on humanity like no other book in history.
The main theme of the bible centers around the person and work of Jesus Christ. How He came down to earth from heaven to pay for the sins of the whole world, First John 2:2, so that anyone could be saved from hell by just accepting His free gift of eternal life. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, physical death, we all die, but the GIFT of God is eternal life, through Jesus redemptive work on the cross. He took the punishment we deserve, paid our sin debt in full, and went back to heaven. It is the greatest story ever told. John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my words, and believeth on Him that sent me, HATH EVERLASTING LIFE, and shall not come into judgement, but is passed from death unto life.
