All through the Bible, God told His chosen people not to give their daughters or sons in marriage to other religions because if they did, the other religion would become part of their life. The Lord our God is a jealous God and does not want to share His people with other God's. If You are a Christian you can pray to God at anytime and that includes being in school. We can pray without ceasing, which means we always have that connection with God (the God of Abraham, Issac and Israel). In the recent past, many people of other religions have been let in to this country that their god is a physical object or calling to bad spirits or a make up god that makes them feel good or worship the Creation that the real God made. I believe that Christians should let it be known that if anyone restricts us from praying to our God, that they are violating our God's instructions to have that personal relationship with Him. We should always make God first in our life, in and out of school. God commanded us to go to your neighbor, to your country and to go to the whole World and spread the Good News of the Gospel that His Son, Jesus Christ brought to the whole world in order to have Eternal Life.

When I was in grade school (I am now 71) we started every day at school with the Lord's prayer. We had no issues with school shootings, riots or protest. I realize that we now live in a different world. Maybe taking prayer out of schools is part of the reason why. Romans 1:28 NIV [28] Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. If we want God to bless our nation we need Him in every facet of our lives. Deuteronomy 6:6-9 NIV [6] These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. [7] Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. [8] Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. [9] Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. It would take a constitutional amendment to get Christian prayer back in public schools, but that is a possible thing. If other religions are offended, so be it. They can always move to a nation that supports their beliefs. For those who choose to stay, hopefully some of their children would be exposed to Christ and seeds would be planted that grow and spread. Is this going to happen? Unfortunately, I don't see it, but if we are Christians, we should desire it. We should pray for it, and we should teach our children to pray in school every day AND invite their friends to join them in doing so. Matthew 19:26 NIV [26] Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” I believe that if enough people pray and have faith that their prayer will be answered, God will make it so.
