Any Christian who drives in the UK without insurance will find themselves in prison. Also pensions are a form of insurance against dying young or living past working age. A Christian needs to ask who will look after their family if they die with no insurance!

When I read this question, I thought to myself, "Are you serious?" Then I read some of the answers and comments. The answers and comments that say 'Christians who have insurance show a lack of faith,' make me think, "Are you serious?"

About 25 years ago, my wife Faye was hospitalized for nine days. The hospital bill was an absolutely insane amount of money!! If we had no insurance back then, we'd be renting rooms in an apartment building. In the United States, if you get the wrong health problem, you have two choices. You either lose the house and your savings, or you keep your assets and instead go home to die. If you're not insured.

We were trusting God when we signed up for the insurance we had at the time. Without Him we wouldn't have had the means to get the insurance. The insurance was supplied by Him, not the insurers. The insurers are anointed by God to provide the service that they provide. (Satan doesn't look out for anyone's future!)

If you don't "believe in" insurance, you won't legally drive in Atlanta, so you won't have to pay cash for your automobile, because you won't need one. (If you finance a car, the lienholder will insist you carry insurance on the car until you've paid them for it. The same is true for a house).

I suspect that this, 'Insurance is proof you don't trust God' nonsense is about the HIGH COST of insurance. It's very unfortunate how the culture makes some of us twist scripture to fit what we we can afford. Insurance is expensive!
