The intelligent design (ID) can ascribe our creation to some master planner or alien but really cannot explain why there is a deterioration of creation over time, such as, for example, mutations leading to cancer, death, aging, birth defects and the like.

The bible makes it very clear that the biological creations deteriorate and subsequently suffer over time because of sin (Gen 2: 16,17). Without sin we wouldn't have suffering/death and that is how it will be in Heaven. And it would have been so in Eden if Adam and Eve hadn't sinned and brought the curse on us.

ID does hint at a superior designer/alien but doesn't acknowledge the true and exclusive creator Jesus Christ our God and Savior (John 1:1-5; Col1: 15-19). As such it is disrespectful to our Lord. The bible is absolute truth inspired by God, the Holy Spirit, and is very clear who the creator of our world and universe is.
