In Matthew 22, the Sadducees, in an attempt to discredit Jesus, came to Him with a question regarding marriage and the resurrection. Jesus answered them with these words: "At the resurrection peopl...

Surely, there will be no sex in heaven. Just as the Bible declares in Mathew 22, in the very words of Jesus the CHRIST, we will be spirits, like the angels of heaven. There will be no male or female; we will all be spirits, in the image of God. The primary purpose of sex on earth is to reproduce physical mortal bodies. In heaven, there is no need for sex so as to reproduce. There will not be these earthly physical mortal bodies in heaven.

However, there are some religions who are nursing the belief that there will be male and female in heaven and therefore sex will be there as it is here on earth. In fact they presume sex will be part of the rewards by God to whoever will have pleased Him. I must categorically say; this is a false belief with no any scriptural back up.

Having formerly been a muslim, I have no choice but to say what I am going to say, and just the way it was taught to me. I was taught while still a young muslim boy that when you die a muslim, one of the rewards for dying a muslim is to be given women who would present themselves to you as a male as and when you need them. Such a belief would drive not only me but many of others to strive to be the muslims that allah wanted us to be. This is because nobody doubts how sweet sex can be, in fact, to muslims, everything that is as sweet here on earth either to eat or practice is one of the rewards by allah to those who closely follow after him. We were made to believe that just as the physical mortal person is here, so will he/she be in heaven and therefore all that that person enjoys or holds dear here on earth will equally be available to the same in heaven. The muslim young men who set themselves ablaze today with the aim to die with or kill many others (non-believers in the muslim faith, infidels), do it in the spirit that allah will after all reward them with many sweet good things including virgin girls so as to thank them for the “good” job done. However though, just as I said before, all such is mere say with no evidential proof.

Many other religions have strange beliefs; which I may not be able to mention one after the other, that are never founded. However though, the Christian Faith is very clear on such very topical issues. When we die, we have simply transformed into spirits, whether destined to hell or to heaven. There is no male or female spirit. There is therefore no mechanism of playing sex because it is an act that involves physical mortal bodies. In heaven, we will have put on heavenly bodies, like the one Jesus the CHRIST put on when He ascended to heaven. Equally so, those destined to hell will put on the type of bodies suitable for hell fire.

Additionally, the rewards of being faithful believers and followers of Jesus the CHRIST will not be as we envisage them here on earth. There may not actually be such rewards as we may presume (1Corinthians 5:4), but one reward scripture states categorically is eternal life (Romans 6:23), what goes with it is only known to God almighty.

Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

You are deceived in thinking that there will be marriages in the next life as in this one, and in believing that there will be no resurrection (Mt. 22:23). You do not know either the Scriptures or the power of God to resurrect men. Men and women in the resurrection will not marry.

Resurrected men will be like the angels of God in heaven.

The purpose of marriage is to replenish the earth and keep the race going. Resurrected saints and angels do not die and do not need to marry to keep their kind in existence. Hence, there is no marriage among angels or resurrected men and women.

Jesus did not say that angels were sexless or that they could not marry and have offspring with women. That fallen angels did leave their own first estate and marry the daughters of men and produce races of giants is clear from Gen. 6:1-4. That those who committed fornication are now in hell is clear in Jude 1:6-7 2Pet. 2:4. Angels are capable of many human activities.

Many here have presumed that in heaven we are sexless. That may be true, but there is no biblical basis for that statement. We will have perfected bodies, yes, but that doesn't mean sexless. There will be no marriage, but that doesn't mean sexless. If we have bodies, there will be male and female. And yes, there will be no need to procreate.

Therefore the assumption is that because there is no marriage, and no need to procreate, there will be no sex. That is a probable assumption, but not a necessary one. Perhaps there will be another use or reason for sex? We don't know. It is not addressed in the Bible. What IS addressed is that we will have bodies. We will not be only spirit - floating around. The Bible also says: "For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all... (1 Tim 2:5)". This Jesus was resurrected with a body. He ascended to heaven with a body. At the transfiguration Moses and Elijah were seen, presumably as men. This verse in 1st Timothy refers to Jesus as a man. In heaven. So He is in heaven, and he is Male. That's all we know for sure.

There is no sex in heaven for Christians. However, as mentioned, some religions do promise sex after death. It must be understood that no Bible scripture has labeled any religion false in the sense that what it promises will not be given to the adherents of the religion. Gods such as Ashtoreth,
Chemosh, Milcom, etc., of the peoples surrounding Israel were called abominations, but not false gods. Idols were always condemned. So, the religion of Islam's promise for sex in paradise after death hasn't been proven false. In any event, paradise isn't the true heaven for Christians- it is the New Jerusalem which contains the Throne of God.

This it the reason I believe only the 144,000 Jews will make it through the tribulation.

All the Gentile believers will die because they did not take the mark of the beast.

The 144,000 Jews will still be in their earthy bodies and can replenish the earth during the 1,000 year reign of Christ on the earth. They are the only ones who can sill procreate. Everyone else saved will be in heaven.

At the end of the tribulation we will come back with Him,
