In dealing with the problem of evil in the world, we run into many problems like this one. Could God have prevented the Holocaust? Yes, He could have. He could also have prevented Stalin's massacre...

in His Word, The LORD says: “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts."

And in that, we must remember that God allows in His wisdom, that which He can easily prevent by His power.

God does not allow bad things to happen to good people and vice versa. However if prophecy is going to be fulfilled then it may happen. I do not think God allowed his people to be exterminated, I believe this was an act of hatred by the devil against Gods people. We all have a tendency to blame God at times in our lives, but if we really think about it, he is never to blame. I bless the name of Abraham, praise and worship my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and pray for Israel and her people.

Concerning the Holocaust a reading of the following scriptures might prove to help understand this unique event:

https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Deuteronomy-Chapter-31/

https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Deuteronomy-Chapter-32/

And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are befallen them, that this song shall testify against them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which they go about, even now, before I have brought them into the land which I sware.
Deut. 31:21

For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.
Deut. 31:29

Jeremiah 30:11
“For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.”
King James Version (KJV)

Jeremiah 5:15
“Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD: it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say.”
King James Version (KJV)

God is utterly sovereign. The Great Tribulation will also result in tremendous calamity but a remnant of Israel shall be delivered out of it. Such is the dire importance of being saved by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone plus nothing else ever, forever. It is the only way to be ready for the imminent pre-millenial, pre-tribulational harpazo of the eklessia comprised of both Jewish and Gentile people. Maranatha
