The key is understanding that Jesus is already Lord of your life. We do not make Jesus Lord. Jesus is Lord. What we are supposed to do is submit to His lordship. Another word for our response to Je...

This is my simplistic answer which is one that centers around God's intent for His message to be easily understood 'as like a child'. God is God! He is our creator. He is creator of all things...seen and unseen, touched and untouched. Simply, Only He is God! He is everlasting -to- everlasting! He tells us that "Only He is to be praised, for only He is Lord of Lords and King of Kings!" "For His name shall be praised for everlasting to everlasting!" His love for us can never be taken from us and that "nothing can separate us from the love of God which is IN Christ Jesus our Lord". (Romans 8:37-39)

And, "if God is for us, who can be against us"? (Romans 8:31)

(Ephesians 6:14) God tells us to have and to "put on the whole armor of God" --to daily put on "the breastplate of righteousness" so that we can counter the wiles and attacks that come our way by 'we all know whom I am referring to'. (Ephesians 6:11-6:18 and 1 Thessalonians 5:8 and Deuteronomy 6:10-14) And, surely as He tells us in His WORD, "we will suffer for His namesake".(Romans 8)

Have an "attitude of gratitude"! Be ever mindful that 'God is there in the midst of every circumstance"; and, that He will 'guide you into all truth,' but, we have to "daily put on the whole armor of God" as the Apostle Paul tells us. Purposely put your focus on Him every waking moment. This is an attitude and daily will power pursuit and, it is one of the 'iron clad' methods to daily staying and maintaining and living a "Christ centered, Christ focused life." (Romans 8) tells us that "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?" Take eternal comfort that He is faithful beyond any of our understanding. God loves each of His children more that we could ever begin to understand or know! For Only He is Lord and only He is deserving of our worship, love and praise! Put God FIRST!...and, your focus on Him daily!

As I like to close with my saying: "Praise God that He provided a Savior! And, His name is Jesus Christ!"
