A lot of bible scholars believe America is not mentioned in the bible at all but that is not true. In Daniel 7 it talks about 4 great beasts that come up out of the sea. These "beasts" are actually nations. This is an end time prophecy and is not of the current time period as so many scholars have concluded. In Daniel's vision in v 4 the first beast was like a lion and had eagle's wings. I watched until its wings were plucked off; and it was lifted up front the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man, and a man's heart was given to it. Consider this; The lion is the symbol for England. The eagle is the symbol for America. America evolved from or was "plucked" from England, thus becoming its own nation standing on its own feet. The second beast in v 5 was like a bear, which Russia is the bear. V 6 speaks of the leopard which is Germany. And finally the fourth and most dreadful beast is the re-birth of the Holy Roman Empire.
The United States play a major role in Bible prophecy. How can this country which is so powerful and has a lot of influence has no mention in the bible. Th USA plays a vital part in the closing of this world's history. Revelation 13 is the chapter that speaks about the United States of America. Turn your bibles to Revelation 13:1, this is the first power that is mentioned. A beast in bible prophecy represents a kingdom or world power (Daniel 7:17,23). Also notice that it has seven heads and ten horns and upon his horns ten crowns. This is the same describe as Satan in Rev 12:3,9 to show who is behind this power. Verse 1-10 are dealing with the dark ages and I won't spend too much on that although that is very important to understand. Let's jump to verses 11-18 which is about the USA. We see "two horns like a lamb" mentioned in this verse which is the key to understanding this verse. A horn represents a king (Dan 8:21, 7:24) a lamb which we know represents Christ (John 1:29) which indicates a Christ like kingdom or a Christian nation. We know that a Christian nation consist of a separation of church and state. Let's like at Matthew 22:19-21 here Jesus show us the separation of church and state. Caesar's represents the state and of course God represent the church. What nation in the World can represent Reve 13:11 it can only be the United States of America. Also known as Civil and Religious liberty. Other nations since ancient times had oppressed religious dissidents. America established something new. The United States declared its independence in 1776, voted the Constitution in 1787, adopted the Bill of Rights in 1791, and was clearly recognized as a world power by 1798. The timing obviously fits America. No other power could possibly qualify. There is still some verses in this chapter that is not fulfilled as of yet. But verses 11-18 is regarding USA. There is a whole lot I didn't mention but I tried to summarize it as much possible. Please study the books of Daniel and Revelation.
I am in awe of how some will reach to the farthest corners scripture for a fallacy. This is a difficult question, mostly because it has such a difficult answer. I love my country, and I’d love to find references to it in the last days. But it isn’t there. And that seems to be quite a mystery, given that we are at the moment the most powerful nation on earth, by every conceivable measure. There are some who will try to find America in scripture, here are a few. Some point to Isaiah 18, which speaks of a people “tall and smooth” who are “feared far and wide.” The passage says these people are “a powerful nation whose land the rivers divide” that will one day bring gifts to the Messiah when He reigns from Mount Zion. Those who hold this view, point to the fact the United States is divided by the Mississippi, to America’s power and say we are the people “feared far and wide” of whom Isaiah was speaking. But this view only works if you ignore the first verse of Chapter 18. It clearly identifies the powerful nation divided by a river as Cush, or Ethiopia. At the time of Isaiah, Ethiopia was part of the Egyptian empire and the river referred to is without doubt the Nile. Another view says that America is identified by the prophet Ezekiel in Ezekiel 38:13. Ezekiel speaks of the “merchants of Tarshish and all the young lions thereof” who launch a diplomatic protest at the time of the Gog-Magog invasion of Israel. Some point to the fact that Tarshish was the westernmost trading and seafaring nation of the ancient world. From there, Tarshish becomes Britain. After all, Britain is the westernmost point on the Continent. And the symbol of Britain is a lion. Consequently, “all the young lions thereof” become the former British colonies, like Australia, Canada and, of course, the United States. Therefore, ipso facto, the merchants of Tarshish and all the young lions thereof must be referring to America. But this doesn’t work, either. First and foremost, nobody can pinpoint with any degree of accuracy the location of Tarshish. The only thing we are sure of is that it isn’t Britain. The most recent archeological evidence puts ancient Tarshish in Spain, which, while close, doesn’t quite win the cigar. America isn't directly found in the Bible, but neither are many other modern nations such as France, Germany, the UK, Turkey, Russia, India or China. Regarded as a Christian nation (much less so than in former centuries) America would be part of spiritual Israel and participate in the blessings and issues of Israel in the last days. A good many writers have suggested that America belongs to the tribe of Joseph, along with the other English-speaking nations (UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.). The double blessing of Joseph explains the superior standard of living and personal freedoms these nations enjoy. Unfortunately, the prophecies of Hosea paint a very bleak future for the tribe of Joseph, and many personal prophecies of Christians indicate that America will decline and permanently fall into third-world status due to drought, famine, plague, off-the-scale earthquakes, and invasion by Russia and China. In this light it is easy to understand why America will not play a significant role in the prophesied end-time Biblical events for Israel involving Europe, Asia or Africa, any more than South or Central America will. Of course, America's contribution to world evangelism has been unequaled and may be the reason why the nation survives the trials of the future, while others do not.
The United States is not mentioned in the scriptures because the bible is not about us, but about Jesus. He is the center of all the scriptures even to the point that Israel pales in comparison because they pointed to Jesus as Israel's final representative. All the nations are swallowed up in Christ who points to His creation as the subject of eternal salvation. If we take a look at Luke 24:27, 44, John 5:39-40, Eph 1:20-21, Col 1:16 and 3:11, we will discover that Christ fills the entire scriptures from beginning to end.
America is in prophecy. Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar dreamt a dream; In Daniel 2:31-35, KJV we read: 31.Thou O King, saw and behold a great image. This great is image whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee, and the form thereof was terrible. 32.This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and arms of silver, his belly and thighs of brass. 33.His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. 34.Thou saw till a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and break them into pieces. 35.Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like a chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away that no place was found for them; and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain and fill the whole earth. The head of the Image which is of gold stood for the Babylonian Empire ruled by Nebuchadnezzar. Later on his son Belshazzar, became king. Some 60 years later he was overthrown by the Medes and Persian army and Belshazzar was executed. At a feast, part of a hand was seen writting the following on the wall: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, URPHARSIN - Daniel 5:22-28 KJV The Medo-Persia replaced the Babylonian Empire as a dominant world power, represented by silver. Greece became the third world power representing brass of the image. Daniel 2:40, KJV At 20 years of age Alexander the Great embarked upon a campaign of conquest and established Greece as the new world power. The fourth Kingdom Rome, was such a power, showing no respect for God's word and persecuted the disciples. Rome crushed and shattered all the remnants of previous world empires. The iron legs of Nebuchadnezzar's dream image represent the Roman Empire. Consider Revelation 17:10 - New American Standard Bible.....And there are seven Kings: five have fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a little while. The five fallen kings (World Powers) were Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia and Greece. The sixth, The Roman Empire was still in powerwhen apostle John penned those words. In 1763 C.E, Britain became a World Power. By 1776 it's 13 American colonies declared their independence and became the United States of America. Thus, Britain and the United States became the Anglo-American world power representing the feet of the image which is partly iron and partly clay. Daniel 2:41-43..New American Standard Bible. The iron mixed with clay symbolize the final manisfetation of human rule (authoritarian rule and democracy) which mark "the time of the end". Now let's read the final chapter of the Prophet Daniel's dream interpretation. Daniel 2: 34 & 35 - "You (Nebuchadnezzar) continue looking until a stone was cut out without hands and struck the image on it's feet of iron and clay and crushed them....." A dramatic turn of events here in "Daniel 2:44 - And in the days of those Kings, shall the God of heaven set up a Kingdom....."
