One of the most important considerations, and I'm sure you've considered it as well, is what your children will be learning during their time each Sunday as well. The most biblical based preaching church, doesn't make up for a poor youth group. Once again, I'm sure this is a major priority for your choice, but it can't be stressed enough. Your children's knowledge of the Word of God will be stripped daily in most public schools. A strong youth group is one of the ways to hamper the inevitable of the Godlessness that has become America's public school system. I hope this helps.

Try looking for these qualities:

1. One - describes the unity of the body of Christ.
2. Holy - set apart for a special purpose by and for God.
3. Catholic - pronouncing the universality of Christ's church.
4. Apostolic - continuity in the church's teachings from the apostles throughout history.
