According to Mark 16:19 and 1 Peter 3:22, Jesus is in heaven right now at the right hand of God the Father. Luke 24:51 and Acts 1:9-11 describe the bodily ascension of Jesus, which occurred 40 days...

God the Son is seated at the Father’s right hand in Heaven. It is God the Holy Spirit who in all His personality is here on earth. This is the era of the Holy Spirit. Ignorance of this truth will be the greatest loss in Christian life.

Resurrected Jesus ascended to our Father in heaven in his immortal body, a real flesh- and- bone body (Lk. 24:39), can go through material walls without an opening (Jn. 20:19; Lk. 24:31, 35- 43). Resurrected bodies are not "flesh and blood", but "flesh and bone"!

Jesus is in heaven in his resurrected body, Mk. 16:19; Lk. 24:39, 51; Acts 1:11)

He is as truly God and Lord as Jehovah, the Father (Ps. 110:1; Isa. 7:14; 9:6- 7 Mic. 5:2; Jn. 1:1- 2, 14 Heb. 1:1- 3, 8 Rev. 1:8). He is the exalted One at the right hand of the Father (Ps. 110:1, 5; Mt. 26:64; Mk. 16:19; Acts 2:33- 34 7:55- 56 Rom. 8:34; Eph. 1:20; Col. 3:1; Heb. 1:1- 3, 13 8:1; 10:12; 12:2; 1Pet. 3:22).

He is seated at the right hand of the Father until the time of the second coming when He will come to reign 1,000 years to put all enemies under His feet (Ps. 110:1). This does not mean that He will sit down until the Father puts all enemies down, but until the time for all enemies to be brought under and subdued. That is really the purpose of the second coming and the 1,000- year reign (1Cor. 15:24- 28 Eph. 1:10; Heb. 10:13).

We have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ (1Jn. 2:1- 2). He is the sole authority from God and the Mediator between God and man (Acts 3:22- 23 Heb. 1:1- 2 1Tim. 2:5)

Rendered "Comforter" in Jn. 14:16, 26; 15:26; 16:7, and "Advocate" in 1Jn. 2:1. It means one called to the side of another for help or counsel. The Spirit is our Paraclete or Helper on earth and Christ is the Paraclete or Helper in heaven.

Surprising facts about Jesus that we ignore, here are a few life hanging ones for me:
1. Jesus the Son of God is Spirit made flesh. He is now also a man. He didn't just try it out for 30 years on earth. Jesus is fully God and fully a man like you and me.
2. Where is He? In the Kingdom of heaven. Who are we? Subjects to the King of heaven. This is not a capitalist democracy, our economy is to give and receive the Love of God, making heaven real on this earth
2. Jesus loves us, but that's not why He became man. Jesus came to redeem us for the Father God who loves us so much that He gave His only begotten Son to die for us. Jesus came so that we can be where He is right now, on our Father's knee being loved by God
3. Right now Jesus is getting ready to marry His fiancé. Extending Fathers house (architect and builder who know you intimately, what delights you).
4. Jesus is near ready, impatient to return to claim his bride and get married.
God has always come down to be with us on earth. Since walks in Eden, dwelling in tabernacle, demanding blood sacrifice, acting miraculously through His people to build Kingdom on earth. After the wedding Jesus will rule the earth with His bride.
5. Christians don't need to die to go to heaven. Jesus wants His Presence to be prayed into existence now in our lives, family and work. When Christ returns we who know Him will meet with Him and follow as His new wife to live in that Kingdom of heaven still here on earth which we are birthing today

Of course we may say He is in heaven. This is very correct. But if He is only in heaven, how He could be enjoyed here on earth? He is not only in heaven but at the same time, He is here within us (Rom.8:34 & 8:10). If He is only in heaven how could we experience Him and enjoy Him? Today He is not only in the heavens but also with in our spirit.

Where is Jesus?

The answer is the most amazing truth that any Christian can accept.

We don't have to understand how, but when He was received up into heaven, He sat down at the "right hand of GOD."

His work on the cross was done.

GOD's salvation is available to all who will call on Him. But His work as the Advocate for all believers, that began the day that He arose and ascended into heaven, that is His work now.

And He has ever been interceding for us.

Romans 8:34 is one of the sweetest truths that we can have in our heart and mind. To know that Christ is there, ever interceding for us is truly a game changer.

To know that when I have followed my own way, been led to sin by lust of my own creation, when the devil would approach GOD's throne to accuse me, Jesus, my Advocate, would be there.

And as the devil made his vicious attack on me (Rev. 12:10), Jesus would simply hold out His hand, showing GOD the Father my name written in His own blood in His book, the Lamb's book.

He said that no one would take me from His hand. John 10:28-29

I suspect that everyone has heard the simple brief story often told about a man standing before the Judge who finds to his joy that his own Attorney, who happens to be the Son of the Judge, has paid the fine.

As followers of Christ Jesus, that scenario is played out every day, sometimes many times a day, for while we love the LORD with all of hearts, our souls and our minds, this building we are inhabiting while on earth is flesh and it's propensity is to sin.

But we can trust in Christ to ever be interceding for us. For me, that is the sweetest truth that I can fathom.

The fact that Jesus is at God’s right hand is a key theme in the Scriptures. The right hand is, of course, the place of honor, power, and authority. Psalm 110:1 is the basic prophecy, but there are numerous references: Matthew 22:44; Mark 14:62; 16:19; Acts 2:33-34; 5:31; Stephen saw Jesus standing at God’s right hand (Acts 7:55); Romans 8:34; Ephesians 1:20; Colossians 3:1; Hebrews 1:3; 8:1; 10:12; 12:2; and 1 Peter 3:22.
